Chapter 59 - Hello, Brother.

They all walked in a straight file as the two deranged men led the way through the tunnel. Adams scent was becoming more and more pungent as they kept going in.

"Raymond, I think I might choke on your daddy." Darius said.

"What the fuck, Darius?" Raymond spat giving him a glare as the sound of muffled laughter echoed in the tunnel.

"Chill, Ray. What he meant was that he could choke on your dad's scent. I mean, you can't blame him. It's so strong." Margaret said

Raymond rolled his eyes at her statement, totally ignoring them both as he turned to Lily.

"Isn't it weird that my father's scent becomes more and more pungent as we go in?" Raymond whispered to Lily.

"It is weird but we've already started going. We just have to keep moving, hopefully we haven't triggered them yet." Lily said.

For some reason, Raymond wasn't satisfied with the reply but accepted it anyway. He knew there was no other way she could know except tapping into her black magic and he wouldn't want that just yet.

After a while of walking they filled into a very long hallway. Toby and Calum stopped walking, still looking lifeless.

"Where is her dungeon?" Lily asked the men.

"Down the hall to your left" They both replied sounding robotic.

"How many people are guarding her?"

"Martin and Cleo." They replied.

"And the other guards, where are they? The Maniac too, where is he?" Raymond asked, his voice sounding so grave as it reverberated in the hallway.

"The Maniac and the other guards are in the upper floor, Sir Grey as well." Calum said.

"Hey!!" A huge man from down the hall shouted rising from his seat, another smaller man coming up behind him. "Who are you talking to?" He scolded, walking down the hall.

Lily casted a spell, deranging him as well. "Raymond, I believe your crew can take care of these other two." She said pointing at Toby and Calum. "This big boy will be taking us to the dungeon, right biggie?"

"Yes, ma'am" The big man replied.

"Huh? Why would you do that? Sir Grey would kill us! Are you out of your mind?!" The smaller man scolded, fear very evident in his eyes.

"Cleo, I'd really appreciate if you could step aside." The huge man said in a deep monotone voice.

"Step aside?! Why would I step aside?! I can't see the person's or people you are speaking with but I can sense them and I know they are against us. Please, Martin; just push them away and alert Sir Grey, please." The younger man pleaded coming closer to Martin.

"Step aside, Cleo" The bigger man said. "This is my last warning." Glaring at the smaller man for a few seconds, he stepped to the side in other to walk past Cleo, but the younger man blocked him, hugging the bigger man tightly.

"Remember you said you love me, you can't kill someone you love" The younger man spewed making everyone in the crew burst into a fit of laughter, scaring the smaller man.

"Romcom in a dungeon? My favorite." Darius teased making the crew laugh harder.

"Alright, that's enough." Raymond snapped. Walking to where the big man stood, he whispered. " You don't mind knocking out your friend for a few minutes now, do you?"

"No, sir" The bigger man replied.

"Then please do the needful." He said.

The bigger man took out his gun, using its butt to knock the shivering smaller man out cold.

"Now, lead the way." Lily said as she undid the cloaking spell.

They followed the bigger man in silence as he led them to the dungeon. On getting there, the man took out his keys, unlocking it and stepping aside so they could go in.

Upon entering, Raymond froze in his steps. His eyes opened so wide they looked like they could pop out.

Before him was his mate who looked like she had been run over by a train and then beaten a thousand times, lying in the arms of someone who looked just like him.

"Well, well, well. Hello, brother." Grey said looking directly into his brother's eyes which was widened in shock.

Adam sat in his office; that no longer looked like one since he had broken every accessory and trampled on his documents, and before him sat his first daughter, Elizabeth.

"What are you doing here? I thought you had disowned your family all because of a stupid mate." He said spitting after he had said the word 'mate' like he had tasted a very disgusting substance.

Elizabeth frowned deeply in her seat, her heart heavy as anger and hatred boiled in her chest.

She stared at the man she had once called her father, the man that was once obsessed with braiding and combing her hair when she was little even up to when she was an adolescent.

The man who would chase after boys who wronged her and her brother in high school to punish them. The man who taught her how to fight both with her words and fists.

The man she had considered her first love.

Alot of times she had asked herself what she did wrong, what they, all of her family members had done wrong. He became so bad he had begun to hate on everyone and everything, starting with her mom when he hit her head on a wall during an argument, and then to her brother and to her, when he made sure her mate was sent to the front line despite being the future delta.

If only she had thought about everything before she ghosted and abandoned her family, the relationship between her and her brother and mother would have remained as strong as always and together they would have taken down their father. But she didn't, she fucked it up... as always.

"Are you going to talk or are you just going to sit there staring at me?!" Adam barked banging his palm violently in the already broken table.

'Bringg' The telephone- or what was left of it- rang on the floor where it had been thrown to during his rampage.

He huffed, grudgingly leaving his seat to go pick it up.

"Sir! We have been breached!" Someone shouted on the other side of the line.

"What? When?!" He barked, his eyes turning gold.

"Just now, Sir. Sir, I think it's-the- Alpha king." The man said shakily.

On hearing that, Adam threw the phone to the wall again, grabbing a fist full of his hair.

Elizabeth shifted in her seat wondering what kind of information he had heard that made him react this way.

"I am going to kill your brother." Adam barked bolting out of the room.
