"Shopkeeper, I won't disturb you any longer. Goodbye!"
"Fisk, Vanessa, goodbye!"
After Kingpin and Vanessa left, the shop returned to its usual peace. Just as Rosh was considering playing a few rounds of "Arena of Valor," Deadpool started bombarding him with private messages.
"Shopkeeper, you won't be that cruel, right? You won't be so heartless, right? You wouldn't, would you?"
"I was just saying hello to the new group member. Did you really have to mute me?"
"Shopkeeper, you don't realize how much you've hurt my feelings, my soul, and even my body."
"You might wonder how you hurt my body. Well, that's because Vanessa just gave me a good beating!"
"She said I made the shopkeeper upset!"
A series of messages followed one after another, giving Rosh a headache. Dealing with Deadpool was definitely not something the average person could handle.
"Stop right now, or I'll block you!"
Rosh snapped back at Deadpool, not out of impoliteness or any bias against him, but out of sheer necessity. This was the only way to shut him up—a lesson learned from previous painful experiences. If he didn't respond this way, Deadpool would never stop talking.
Sure enough, after Rosh's stern message, Deadpool stopped flooding his inbox.
"Shopkeeper, let me tell you something serious. You might see me on TV soon!" Deadpool boasted with a hint of pride.
"Wade, did you get scouted to be in a movie?" Rosh replied, teasing him.
"A movie? That's a great idea, I love it! I might go into acting in the future and become a star!"
"Oh my god, Shopkeeper, you're a genius! You've given my life a new direction. I heard they're planning to make a movie about Green Lantern. If I could play Green Lantern…"
Deadpool started daydreaming and sharing his aspirations with Rosh.
Rosh: "…"
'Deadpool, are you serious?'
Rosh was genuinely intrigued. If Deadpool really did play Green Lantern, would he regret it so much that he'd want to die?
That would be something to see.
"Green Lantern, huh? Wade, I think that role is tailor-made for you. Go for it; you've got this!" Rosh encouraged him with a touch of malicious glee.
"This means I have to perform really well this time!"
Deadpool seemed filled with determination. "Even though it's just a commercial, I think this is the beginning of my journey to becoming a movie star!"
'A commercial? What's going on?'
After chatting with Deadpool, Rosh finally understood the situation.
It turned out that Deadpool had been spotted by the marketing manager of a well-known cosmetics brand. The manager was utterly amazed by Deadpool's flawless skin and invited him to be their brand ambassador to help them sell face masks!
If the response was good, they even planned to ask Deadpool to shoot an advertisement for them!
Rosh was utterly dumbfounded after hearing the story.
'Deadpool selling face masks? How did things take such a bizarre turn?'
"Actually, I wasn't going to accept the offer, but they were so sincere. They told me all I had to do was stand there and let people admire my face. I don't have to do anything else."
"And they offered a generous pay—ten thousand bucks per event. It's like free money!"
"I even told them I wanted a hotel room booked so I could bring Vanessa along, and they didn't mind at all!"
"The only thing they want is for me to claim that my face is the result of using their face masks. Shopkeeper, you don't mind, do you?"
Deadpool excitedly shared his strange experience with Rosh.
Rosh couldn't help but marvel at how Deadpool truly lived up to his reputation as one of the quirkiest characters in the Marvel Universe. A quirky person encountering quirky events—absolutely perfect.
After wrapping up his conversation with Deadpool, Rosh finally had some time to pick up his phone and start a few rounds of "Arena of Valor." As usual, he was met with a barrage of insults from his teammates.
"Bunch of noobs, and they have the nerve to blame me."
"Only weak players blame their teammates."
Rosh smirked dismissively, ignored the complaints from those noobs, and queued up for the next match.

Meanwhile, at Helen Cho's research center.
"Professor Xavier, it's an honor to finally meet you."
"No, Dr. Cho, I'm the one who is honored to meet you, the angel who has been making waves recently."
Sitting in his wheelchair, Professor X smiled and greeted Helen Cho, "But as you can see, some factors prevent me from standing, so please excuse my rudeness."
"You're too kind, Professor Xavier. Please, come in."
Helen warmly shook hands with the wheelchair-bound Professor X and personally led him into her laboratory.
She knew that Professor X was a mutant, but like Rosh, she didn't harbor any strong feelings toward mutants—neither hostility nor support. It was more of an indifferent attitude.
However, Helen greatly respected Professor X. Beyond his identity as a mutant, he was also a widely respected scholar, particularly in the field of genetic mutation, where he was considered a leading authority.
Helen always showed great respect for academic giants like Professor X.
"Hank, could you push me in?"
Professor X asked Hank, who was behind him pushing the wheelchair, and then continued to chat with Helen as they moved along.
"Dr. Cho, I don't want to boast, but I've been through many things in my life, and it's rare for something to truly surprise me anymore."
This wasn't an exaggeration. Throughout his life, Professor X had fought alongside people from the future, thwarted robots that nearly destroyed the world, and even battled aliens.
His life had been full of extraordinary and thrilling events.
"But what happened with Oak really intrigued me. I didn't expect him to be able to stand so soon."
There was still a trace of astonishment in Professor X's voice.
Recently, a student from Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters had been involved in an accident that crushed his leg. It was a severe compound fracture, yet after visiting Helen Cho's lab, he was up and walking the next day.
It was almost unbelievable, practically a miracle.
Professor X's first thought was that someone with mutant powers had intervened because that was the only explanation that made sense.
However, when he used Cerebro to locate Helen, he found she wasn't a mutant at all and was just an ordinary human!
This discovery was what prompted Professor X's visit today.
