Elektra casually asked her question, not really expecting a definitive answer from Rosh.
However, she didn't expect Rosh to chuckle upon hearing her question. "Ah, so you've encountered the Bullet-Bullet Fruit before, haven't you?"
"Bullet-Bullet Fruit?" Elektra raised an eyebrow.
"That's right. It's a fruit that allows its user to fire bullets from their body. Once consumed, the person can shoot bullets from their fingers or other parts of their body."
Rosh explained seriously as he pulled out a catalog of Devil Fruits, pointing to the image of the Bullet-Bullet Fruit. "Look, this is the Bullet-Bullet Fruit."
Elektra glanced down at the page and saw the described fruit. The entry about the Bullet-Bullet Fruit matched what Rosh had just said, and more importantly, it matched what she had seen with her own eyes.
'Could Devil Fruits really exist?'
Elektra couldn't help but wonder. The evidence seemed obvious—Rosh couldn't have just happened to prepare this detailed catalog in advance to fool her. Logically, its existence could only mean one thing: Devil Fruits were real.
"Do you know someone named Wesley?" Elektra asked, raising her head after a brief silence and fixing her eyes on Rosh.
Rosh seemed to understand even more from that question. It was clear now that Elektra must have witnessed Wesley using the Bullet-Bullet Fruit. Although he found how she crossed paths with Wesley curious, he nodded and smiled. "Yes, Wesley bought the Bullet-Bullet Fruit from my shop."
Elektra's suspicions solidified further.
"May I take a closer look at this catalog?" she asked again.
"Of course. Feel free to browse. If you'd like to know more about any specific fruit, just let me know, and I can explain it in detail," Rosh offered. "And if you're interested, we even have samples you can try. A sample will grant you the fruit's power for five minutes."
"Samples? And I'll have the ability for five minutes?" Elektra perked up at that. She put down the catalog and said, "Can I try the Bullet-Bullet Fruit?"
Although her conversation with Rosh had all but confirmed Wesley's abilities came from the fruit, she wanted to verify it firsthand. Having already encountered several supernatural phenomena, Elektra was fairly open to the idea of Devil Fruits.
"Of course, please wait a moment," Rosh replied, happy to oblige.
A customer wanting to try a fruit sample was precisely the situation Rosh hoped for. Once they experienced the wonders of a Devil Fruit, there would be no need for him to push a sale—they would practically beg to buy it themselves.
As long as the customer could afford it, of course. He'd wasted enough time on people like that flashy guy earlier who clearly didn't have the funds. But with Elektra, Rosh had no such concerns. She seemed like someone who wouldn't hesitate to spend.
He quickly retrieved the Bullet-Bullet Fruit sample and handed it to Elektra with a friendly reminder that Devil Fruits were notoriously awful in taste.
"This is the Bullet-Bullet Fruit?"
Elektra eyed the small sample in her hand, hesitating for a moment before popping it into her mouth.
"Wow! That's horrendous!" she exclaimed, pulling a face of disgust.
Rosh had warned her, but she hadn't taken it seriously. Now, though, after experiencing the overpowering flavor, she realized just how unpleasant it was.
Yet, strangely, this only made her believe in the Devil Fruits more. If Rosh were trying to scam people, why would he make the fruit taste so bad?
"Compared to the extraordinary power it grants, the taste is a trivial inconvenience," Rosh chuckled. "So, are you feeling any changes yet?"
Initially, Elektra had been too focused on the lingering taste in her mouth to notice anything else. But as soon as Rosh mentioned it, she suddenly became aware of a new sensation in her body.
"This… this feeling…"
Eyes wide with amazement, Elektra bolted to the front of the shop, stretched out her hand toward the street, and concentrated.
*Bang!*
A bullet shot from her slender fingertips.
"It's real! I can actually fire bullets from my fingers! So, that's how Wesley did it!" Elektra stared at her right hand in disbelief, murmuring in awe.
At that moment, all doubt vanished from Elektra's mind. She never could have imagined such miraculous things truly existed in the world. Without saying anything else, she hurriedly waved to Rosh and began reviewing the catalog again.
"Take your time browsing," Rosh called over. "If you'd like to know more, just ask. But as for the Bullet-Bullet Fruit, I'm afraid we're out of stock."
"No worries, the Bullet-Bullet Fruit isn't really my style," Elektra replied nonchalantly.
Elektra specialized in cold weapons as an assassin, so the Bullet-Bullet Fruit didn't quite appeal to her. She'd only wanted to confirm whether Wesley's abilities came from a Devil Fruit. Now that her curiosity was satisfied, she was far more intrigued by some of the other more extraordinary fruits.
"Shopkeeper, tell me, the thorns produced by this Thorn-Thorn Fruit, these aren't ordinary thorns found in nature, are they?" Elektra asked, her interest piqued as she looked up from the catalog.
'A rose needs its thorns; quite a fitting choice,' Rosh thought. He could see how this fruit would suit her perfectly.
"Of course, I know what you're asking. The thorns created by the Thorn-Thorn Fruit are incredibly durable and far tougher than steel. They can easily pierce through rocks," Rosh explained.
"So, you don't need to worry."
