"Can you remind me again what age you'll clock as you celebrate your birthday this coming December?"
Valerie's mother asked her so as to remind Valerie that she's not getting any younger thereby the need to find a man and settle down.
On hearing the question, Valerie's countenance changed because she already knows where her mother's question is heading to.
"I'll be turning 30." Valerie answered
"Are you not tired of doing maid of honor for your friends without even inviting them for at least your own engagement party?" Her mother asked. Valerie started coughing profusely and left the dinning running to the kitchen to get some water to drink just to avoid her mother's questions.
