CHAOS
The moment he said those words, the whole arena erupted in awe-inspired cheers, there was so much chaos that it seemed like a riot of angry mobs.
Everyone of them were in frenzied excitement, they had never seen anything like it. This was a true pinnacle battle between sword cultivators.
And they were only in the Body refining realm, one could only imagine how strong they would be when the broke through to the Spirit sea realm.
"Indeed you've won, I concede to my lose. You're a formidable opponent Eremiel Vin Celestra" Arkeon said with a faint smile on his face.
And then he passed out, a few elders rushed to the stage and took him away to be treated.
Although Vin wasn't one to care for fame, he still relished in the cheers, as the crowd talked excitedly about the battle.
"Whoa, did you see that??!!!"
"Now that's what I call a battle"
"That was so amazing, I've never seen another like it, have you??"
"Nope, Me neither!!!"
"These people are way beyond our level"
Although Vin was glad he won, and frankly he was quite proud of himself at how far he had come. But he knew defeating Arkeon wasn't his true goal because Arkeon was only ranked second.
In fact the only reason he challenged him was so he could master Sword one and now that he had accomplished that, it was time to actually get serious.
His master had given him a mission, and that was to become the Mortal King. And he had no choice but to do so.
But when he looked at the person he was to defeat before he became the Mortal King, his heart faltered a little.
His battle instincts which had been honed through countless life and death battles were right now given him alarm bells.
The feeling he got was the feeling of Mortal danger, almost like he was facing an unfathomable enemy, the same feeling he got when he was standing face-to-face with the leader of the Tenebrous Taskforce. Delmos.
'This guy, he's strong. So strong it's despairing, what the hell is his deal' Vin thought as he glared at the number one ranker, the Mortal King.
"I was right after all" Thorne Thunderforge said as he stood, his voice booming through the entire arena, it was so loud that it actually shut up the excited crowd.
"Your purpose here, the true reason why you participated on this tournament, was for a single goal only" he continued, no one saw how he moved but he was now standing right on front of Vin.
"Others might think so, but the reason why you're here isn't because you wanted to challenge Arkeon right?. In fact the only reason why you challenged him in the first place was because of a selfish goal which you have accomplish.
"Now then, who don't you tell us exactly why you're here. I want you to say those words yourself out loud" Thorne grinned as he spoke.
Vin stared at him in surprise as he hadn't anticipated this action from him. But now that it's come to this, he might as well go on with it.
"I challenge you to a battle. Mortal King Thorne Thunderforge" Vin declared loudly.
This totally upturned the last bit of sanity the rest of the crowd had at this moment.
"He still wants to go on?"
"Damn, he's got guts I give him that?"
"This guy....."
"I think I'm going nuts"
"He's definitely the greatest underdog in the history of the outer court"
"We will forever remember his legend"
"Indeed we will"
The crowd were truly shocked this time, they didn't think Vin wasn't satisfied with just being a Mortal Lord, no he wanted to the Mortal King, the strongest of all.
And now they were even more hyped up about the battle that it was overwhelming.
"And I accept your challenge, but I doubt you're in a condition to fight right now anyways, so why don't we postpone our battle till tomorrow" Thorne laughed loudly as he patted Vin on his shoulders.
He then turned around and walked away from the arena, not even waiting for Vin's reply.
Vin watched him leave as faint smile crept on his face, even though he knew his chances of winning were quite low, he was determined to give it a try.
He wasn't going to give up before the actual battle even began, and he was quite expectant as well as exited of the thrill it would give him.
And he couldn't wait for the next day to come already.
Vin returned to his residence to rest up for the night, he picked up the old scroll he had been studying for the past few days now.
Due to the left over insights he had gained from his recent comprehensions he was already thinking of creating new skills.
First was the second move of the Seven sins of chaos. And second was to train the flame technique he had used back at the mountain.
Now the origin of that technique was quite special as he never created that technique himself. In actual fact, the technique had come from the Hell Flames itself, and he had executed it so perfectly, that it felt like he had always known how.
Which brought Vin to a terrifying analysis 'First of all, what exactly are my origins?, why do I possess such an amazing bloodline, that I can't even control?, and since I do possess something like this, then it must mean my parents weren't ordinary, so why was I abandoned in this place?' a series of questions ran through his mind.
He had always asked himself these questions but to no avail, ever since he had Awakened his bloodline, he had started questioning his true origin, and he knew there was only one place he could find that answer.
"Soon I'll be coming over to that main world, I hope you're prepared for me, Eridoria?" he muttered aloud as he gazed into the the distance.
After thinking about it for a while, Vin cleared his mind off the distracting thought as he closed his eyes and entered into meditation.
He focused his attention on the technique that was currently in his mind, but no matter how he thought about it, he always came to the same conclusion.
"This is an inherited technique, I almost can't believe this, I've only read about them in the Tome of Eridoria. Powerful races can pass down their techniques to their descendants through their bloodline, is this the case for me.
"Well since I was given this technique, I guess I wasn't totally abandoned, maybe something happened that I'm unaware of and that's why I'm unable to be with them, but when I grow stronger, I'll definitely find out.
"Father, Mother, soon I'll come find you both, and then I can find out what really happened" Vin consoled himself with these words.
"Well since I have fire based inherited skills, then there's no need to create another one, I'm sure there'll be more I'll unlock when I get stronger and and my bloodline evolves more. I'm quite excited on the next skill I'm going unlock.
"And the best part is that, I don't need to learn how to use as it seems I've always known how to, but I definitely can't use it in the competition. First of all its a very large scale attack, and second I might very much end up killing someone with it."
After all, this skill was only meant for destruction and vanquishing your enemies. He wouldn't dare test it on a mere spar but he was itchy to try it out.
Since he couldn't restrain himself any longer, he stood up and went out of the sect, it was the middle of the night so there was no need to alarm anyone.
He was currently in the middle layer of the dark wind forest but only at the periphery as he didn't didn't want to go any further.
"This should be a good enough spot" he said to himself as he found a secluded corner in the forest.
And then he raised his hands up and muttered.
"Dio Graze"
A huge ball of violet colored Flames appeared in the sky above him, and it kept growing bigger until it was as huge as a small house and with a downward motion he brought his hands down.
The huge ball of Flames landed in the center of where he stood with him at its core and immediately all hell was let loose.
The Flames burned in vigor, ravaging all the darkened trees around him, because Vin didn't want to cause too huge of a commotion, he limited it to only burn about a hundred meters around him.
If he hadn't done that, they might have continued spreading until they burnt the entire forest to ashes.
And then Vin noticed something happening, there was essence flowing through the Flames and into his body, these essence were coming from the trees and the weaker beasts that were caught up in the Flames.
"Huh, wait don't tell me....."
