Skylar got up to walk to the door as she made little padding sounds while walking.
The persistent knock was becoming unsettling as she didn't like how it ratted out the peace of the night even with the party still raging.
When she approached the door she suddenly felt dizzy.
"Whoa," she gasped as she held the door to keep herself from falling.
"Are you okay?" Leo asked as she shook her head. She was not but even when she was trying to stay stable she was failing.
Her vision was swimming and the room tilting on its axis.
Her hand reached out to steady her slag by the doorframe but it felt like her body was not her own.
She felt like she was floating.
Suddenly a strange pressure was on her chest and she noticed her breathing was shallow.
"Skylar?" She heard her name as she found her father by the door and Leo holding her from falling.
