The morning sun wakes the group up. They all get ready to depart and pack their stuff. "Ready to go?" Gale asks them. "Yes we´re ready!" Sozin answers. "Yes!" Hi answers. "Ok to the independant city of Zilad!" Gale says teleporting away with them. Zilad is one of the biggest cities on the mainland and is an important meeting point of two different cultures namely the holy kingdom of light and the Nafud-country bordering there. This city claimed Independence and played a crucial role in the relationship of Nafud-country and the holy kingdom of light. It established peace between the two and spurred on their trade and economics relationship. This city grew to it´s power due to it´s location and trade. Trading is the most important thing that unites the city, as long as you have goods to trade it doesn´t matter who you are. The city´s strict security keep order in this melding pot of cultures. The same security is composed of the cities strongest men and mercenaries hired by the guild, their main task is to oversee the trade and controll what gets imported or exported. These safety checks happen at each of the four gates to ensure the safety of the citizens. There is no import or export tax which makes this town even more attractive for traders, conversely it makes it easier for the city to keep the city running, because they do not have any farmland to grow food nor any room to herd livestock. All these aspects make for one amazing city where anyone can live and trade including beastmen which make up for most of the Nafud-country.
They arrive at the city center where the teleportation crystal of Zilad is. It is inside a big and tall building located in the center of the city and has four gates as well, which lead to the bustling city center where most of the trade happens and are controlled by the security. They take the southern gate. Guards stop them to control. "Hello, travelers. I kindly ask of you to state your reason for being here and show all your bags contents." A guard says. It is a beastman this one is half-cat and half-human. He wears armor that is western and modern with a pointy helmet and a halberd as well as a shortsword. "We are just passing through!" Sozin tells him. "Here you go!" Hi says showing him their bag. Gale does the same."Alright looks and smells like there is nothing bad in there. Alright you can go." he tells them. "Bye!" Hi says. They go on through. The smell of spices and food fills the city and the chattering of the traders and customers dealing out a good price. "Woa! This is amazing and so many people! " Hi says marvelling at his view. "Yeah i know now let´s go on." Sozin says. There are four roads that leave outside and connect at the city center. These main roads are only to be traveled by foot and are always full by the trade happening on each side of the road. They make their way through the masses of people to the south gate. The guards stop them for a security check. This time the guard is a man. "Please show me your bags!" he says. "Alright." Hi says showing him the contents of the bags. "You can go!" he tells them. They go out the south gate and see a green forest in the southwest and the terrain southwards slowly change into a desert.
"Man they really take security seriously here!" Hi says. "Of course wouldn´t want anything to happen especially in Zilad, because of the mixed popluation that would create a huge uproar." Sozin explains. "I can see the circle form here and there doesn´t seem to be anyone or anything there. The coast is clear let´s go!" Gale tells them looking far into the forest with his sharp elf eyes. "How can you know that ? It still is quite a ways away from here." Hi asks Gale. "Elves have sharp eyes that can look far and wide and can see even the smallest glimps of energy. That is their greatest strength but also a their weakness, because their eyes are so good blinding them with bright flashes is more effective than on humans." Sozin explains. "Hmm i see." Hi says. "Stop talking about elves and get a move on we can´t afford to waste anymore time!" Gale tells them. "Alright we´ll be there in no time at all!" Sozin tells him ready to run off. "That so let´s see who will get there first!" Gale tells him running off first. "Oh no you don´t!" Sozin says also running off overtaking him. "What a showoff!" Gale says. "Don´t forget to count me in too!" Hi says running behind them. The run a few minutes and arrive at the forest where the teleportation circle is. "You have good stamina for a human!" Gale tells Hi. "Thanks" Hi responds. "Hahaha! Sozin in at first place!" Sozin says. "Don´t mind master he´s always like that." Hi whispers to Gale. "Don´t worry i know." Gale responds in kind. "What was that about me?!" Sozin asks them having overheard their little exchange. "Nothing escapes your ears, master!" Hi says sighing. "They are pointy for a reason! Ain´t that right Gale?" Sozin says. "That´s right. Quiet now i have to dispell the barrier so we can enter the ruins." Gale tells them. Hi and Sozin stop talking. Gale says something in a foreign language and a barrier opens. "Come on in!" Gale tells them entering the ruins first. "Yes!" Hi says following him. Sozin follows right after. The ruins run over by nature a reminder of an ancient civilisation. They go down into it and find a blue teleportation circle written in elvish. They step on it and Gale activates it. After a bright blue flash they have arrived at the Great elven forest, which is located on a continent far away from the mainland or Kano-country or the Misty seas. "We have arrived at the great elven forest!" Gale says leading the way outside a small house they arrived in. The great elven forest is a big forest with a lot of endemic life. "Finally here time to summon our allies!" Sozin says casting a teleporation circle on the ground and transporting Yuxuan and Vernon to their current location. Yuxuan and Vernon arrive and the teleportation circle disappears. "Tadah!" Sozin says showing them his cool magic. "What? You can cast a teleportation circle now?" Gale asks him. "All this time and this is when you use it?" Hi asks confused. "A little trick i learned just recently. I can teleport any friends with a familiar energy to this circle, if they stand on another teleportation circle like this one. One time use though and it consumes a lot of mana, wouldn´t use it a second time in at least a month otherwise it will be too unstable and collpase." Sozin tells them. "Just as we discussed!" Yuxuan says. "We´re here to support!" Vernon says. "Look at all those plants!" Vernon says going off collecting them. "Focus on the mission first Vernon! You will have all the time in the world to collect all the plants and grow them to help revitilase the land after the destruction of the lesser dragon!" Yuxuan tells him. "Yuxuan and Vernon i presume. Pleasure to meet you!" Gale says. "That´s right Yuxuan and Vernon at your service! I heard you have a lot of endemic species here let us study them and raise them as my little pets!" Yuxuan answers. "Likewise! The natural mana concentration is off the charts here! I feel so powerful!" Vernon says growing in size. "Wow you grew! Taller than me now." Yuxuan says. "Well you see forest spirits grow stronger the more natural mana there is from forests." Vernon explains. "Quite the little team we have here i´m certain we will slay the beast and restore our order in the forest!" Gale says hopeful. "We will!" Sozin says. "Let´s meet up with the elder and hear the details of our hunt." Sozin adds on. "Let´s go!" Hi says ready to go. "Can´t wait to meet your people and your animals!" Yuxuan says. "I am ready now to face any challenge up ahead!" Vernon says.
