Sozin leaves the castle with Magnus and Sascha and goes to the bar to drink and eat with them. Sozin drinks more than usual because he worries about Hi. Until a letter arrives for them. It´s Hi he is calling them to go hunt the archdemon as a party. "heh! He actually takes his job seriously! An archdemon with forces is a formidable opponent even for him. It´s a sign he trusts us. Let´s not disapoint him and show up. Let´s go!" Sozin tells them and teleports them away. Yuxuan, Gale and Vernon receive the letter too and teleport to the meeting spot a town just outside the forests and the archdemon´s castle. T´chal shows up too just having finished his job. Lucius shows up too. When they all arrive they meet up with Hi and another person. "Hello! Welcome our new party member Erik, he is a researcher and will be documenting our hunts. Always keep an eye out for him he isn´t quite as good as fighting at us, but still very capable to hold his own. He will do all the paperwork for us and publish his new findings as a member of our hunting party!" Hi explains. "Yes! I am Erik. I am a researcher who studied at the academy and has managed to hold down a lot of research getting me a commendation from the king himself. Hi recruited me out of the blue and he impressed me! He offered me a stable position as party member for me to do my research and i even get shares of the materials. It was an offer too good to pass up!" Erik says. "Nice to meet you!" Sozin says. "Likewise!" Erik says. He exchanges greetings with the others. "Well now that we have gathered everyone up. Let´s discuss our plans. The castle is down in the forest you cannot miss it due to it´s heavy and dark energy. Me, Sozin, T´chal will be on the frontlines battling with the demons up close. Right behind should be Lucius, Yuxuan and Vernon who will support our backline consisting of Gale, Magnus, Sascha and Erik. Hold up your positions and don´t change it unless i tell you to. I will be at the very forefront leading an all out attack with Sozin and T´chal. Then Lucius, Vernon and Yuxuan move up and clean up the rest of the demons and finally the backline provides support with coverfire and support spells and of course keeping us informed about our enemies. The castle has an entrance hall three towers and one main hall. Our target is propably in the main hall and will be our main goal. We need to neutralise the towers first so that we will not be attacked by them as we enter trough the main gates. Our backline will take care of that so we can focus on moving ahead to surprise our enemy. After our initial attack we all move up together and take over all three towers with following teams. Me, Vernon and Erik will take the first tower on the left. Sozin, Lucius and Sascha will the take the right one. And T´chal, Yuxuan, Gale and Magnus take the one in the back. After we defeat them we will face our opponent together. After that we secure the whole castle so that the king´s forces can take hold of it. Any questions? No? Then let´s go!" Hi explains to them the plan. "Understood!" They say. The party runs to the green and lush forest that is embraced by a dark mist. They can see the castle from the cover of the forest. Hi raises his hand signaling them to stop. "Can you see anything, Gale?" Hi asks him. Yuxuan has already sent some monsters ahead to scout the area. "I can. It´s as you expected their leader is in the main hall. And the troops seem managable if we can take out the towers and storm the entrance hall!" Gale explains. "Alright then! Everyone to your positions. Gale, Magnus focus on destroying the towers and enemies from afar. T´chall, Sozin follow me! Lucius, Vernon and Yuxuan follow slowly." Hi says rushing in to the front gates. The demons realise the attack and get ready to blow the horn. As one breathes in to blow it they are hit with an arrow. Magnus now having finished up chanelling his spell with Saschas support launches a barrage of explosive fire balls on the towers causing them massive damage. Hi, T´chal and Sozin enter the entrance hall and rush the enemies down. They split up as the rest arrive. The party splits up as planned and follow them. Hi, Vernon and Erik rush to the left tower killing multiple demons on the way. Vernon floods the staircase with poisonous plants. Hi burns the enemies away. The tower goes down in a sea of poison and fire. Meanwhile Sozin, Lucius and Sascha burn the tower away and fill it with light all strengthened by Sascha´s support magic. T´chal kills all their opponents on the way with the help of Yuxuan´s beasts while Gale and Magnus focus on the remaining ones. Magnus fills the tower with water and freezes it solid making it expand out destroying the tower and enemies inside. They regroup before the main hall. Hi is already waiting there. "You all made it in one piece. Now then be prepared that archdemon is stronger than your usual ones. Sascha buff us up. Everyone check your equipment and weapons. Let´s go in!" Hi says. As if on cue the door opens on its own and leads into the dark main hall. Lucius, Magnus, Sascha, Hi and Sozin cast their magic to illuminate the whole room but to no avail the mist is too thick in there. "Everyone get closer togehter and don´t lose anyone out of your eyes!" Hi yells. The party forms together and move further in. Hi can see shapes in the mist and rushes in. "What a stupid guy! Everyone stay together. I´ll help Hi." Sozin says going in to support him. Hi gets lost in the mist and keeps attacking it thinking there are enemies there. Everyone slowly drifts away the mist taking the form of their worst nightmares.Hi dreams of his home in flames his parents dead and at the center a demon clad in black armor and red hair. "What happened here?!" Hi wonders moving through the smoke and rubble. He comes face to face to the demon and fights it. It has sharp claws and burning fire even hotter than his own but he perseveres fighting it on. The demon cuts Hi and causes him to fall into deep focus avoiding each attack narrowly. Hi can´t see a pattern and is nearly overwhelmed by it´s speed and power. The demon is too strong. Hi sees no other way out other than to let it all burn. His fire gets out of control and runs wild. Now he has a fighting chance . Hi continues dodging the attacks waiting for a window of opportunity. Hi manages to cut the demons helmet off. Underneath he cannot make out a face it is blurry. The demon attacks again but this time Hi can manage to run his sword through it burning it from the inside. Hi doesn´t absorb the fire but burns the demon to ashes. Now back to reality Hi wakes up from his dream still burning and with his wounds still aching. The archdemon is surprised. "So you are the first one to escape your dream. Well done!" he says. The archdemon is human looking wearing a nice suit with a red tie however the demonic features stick out it´s wings, tail, horns and sharp teeth. Hi is still breathing heavily. "What? to scared to talk? No one can help you!" the archdemon asks and laughs. Hi appears behind it. The archdemon turns around and teleports behind Hi. The mist begins to move again taking the archdemons form. "Find the real me if you can. Hi senses everyones magic energy slowly fading away. He attacks the clones to look confused but his real goal is to get closer to his team members to wake them up. Hi comes through the smoke into Sozin´s dream. In the dream Sozin is fighting dragons with the world on fire. Hi slaps Sozin awake. "Wake up!" he says. Sozin taken back to reality realises that he was fighting illusions. Sozin still injured from the dream teams up with Hi. "It´s been a while since we last fought this close together!" Sozin says standing back to back with him. "It doesn´t matter if you have another ally to fight with. I will win!" the archdemon says. "Ready?" Sozin asks Hi. "Whenever you are!" Hi answers. They both use their fire and swing it round and round to disperse the mist. The room is filled with a fiery tornado cleaning the mist away revealing the archdemon. The others wake up injured from their dreams. Sascha casts a cleansing spell and healing spell immeaditely. "I´ll heal you guys up!" She says sitting down after using a lot of mana. Erik and T´chal move up to protect her. "Thanks we´ll use it well!" Hi says healed up. The party gets attacked by real demons now mixed with illusions. Lucius points his sword upwards illuminating the whole room with light dispelling the illusions. "Is it ready?" he asks Magnus. "It is now!" Magnus says having finished drawing a diagram on the floor and casting a barrier spell that annuls the illusions and weakens demons. The party hacks and slashes through the demons with ease now. Hi and Sozin confront the archdemon again. The archdemon teleports away from Hi´s attacks but then Sozin appears right behind him and attacks him instead. The archdemon is sent flying into Hi´s direction who has readied a sword attack. Hi attacks him but misses. The archdemon has teleported to Magnus and attacks him. "Right where i wanted you!" Vernon says restraining him with his vines. The archdemon flails around but behind him. "This is where you will face divine judgement." Lucius says raising his sword and chops off his head with a holy magic. "It is done!" Lucius adds sheathing his sword. "We did it!" Hi says high fiving Lucius. The king´s troops arrive and reclaim the castle.
