Lin Feng couldn't tell how long he had been walking; his legs were numb from the cold. This wretched weather made him regret impulsively running away.
It was just a misunderstanding, after all. If only he had persisted and explained more clearly! With his thick skin, there was nothing to fear.
Feeling the bone-chilling wind, Lin Feng decided it was time to give up. He headed straight towards Eula's house nearby.
"Ah-bu-kabakara-sha..." Several Hilichurls approached with wooden clubs, shouting excitedly as if they were thrilled.
A chill ran down Lin Feng's spine. Using the limited Foolish One language he knew, he passionately exclaimed, "Mi muhe you!"
This phrase, taught by Big Bro Kai, meant "I like you." With this gesture of goodwill, surely they won't attack me now! Lin Feng thought, cautiously stepping aside. Of course, he didn't genuinely like Hilichurls; it was merely a desperate tactic!
Upon hearing Lin Feng's words, the Hilichurls seemed ecstatic and even cleared the path for him!
"Thanks guys..." Lin Feng muttered, ready to bolt, fearing they might change their minds at any moment!
However, before he could run, one of the Hilichurls blocked his way. It pointed at the others, then stepped forward alone. Holding a wooden club over its shoulder, it beckoned Lin Feng closer.
Seeing this, Lin Feng's spirits plummeted. It wasn't about letting him go; they wanted a one-on-one duel! With his weak physique, how could he possibly compete against these rugged Hilichurls accustomed to harsh outdoor conditions?
"Kaeya has betrayed me!" Lin Feng seethed internally, cursing Kaeya's entire family countless times. The phrase clearly meant a challenge for single combat, not some friendly gesture! Tricking a young man like this was neither fair nor right!
Determined, Lin Feng resolved to make the System develop a Foolish One language translation software. However, his immediate priority was to seek help from the System.
"System, save me quickly! If I kick the bucket, you're gone too!"
The System promptly responded, "Assistance is already on its way. Stop bothering me!"
Eula was searching for Lin Feng amidst heavy snowfall. Due to the rapidly accumulating snow, most of the footprints had been covered, making her search painfully slow.
Suddenly, Eula felt a vibration on her leg and immediately realized it was her phone ringing. She swiftly pulled out her device, hoping it was a Long-Distance Communication message from Lin Feng.
However, upon opening it, she saw two red dots instead. Noticing that they were labeled with both Lin Feng's and her name, Eula instantly understood. She started heading towards the red dot representing Lin Feng, silently praying:
"Nothing better happen to him; otherwise, this grudge will haunt me for life!"
As Lin Feng faced the incoming Hilichurls, he tried to raise his hand to defend himself, but the extreme cold had already clouded his consciousness.
Just as a Hilichurl's club was about to strike Lin Feng's head, a slender hand reached out and grabbed the weapon.
"Hmph, I'll remember this debt!" A familiar voice echoed in Lin Feng's ears, and then he collapsed, a slight smile playing on his lips despite falling unconscious.
Eula quickly caught Lin Feng before his head hit the ground, cushioning it with her Slime-like body. This caused a faint blush on her cheeks, but she swiftly regained her composure, supporting Lin Feng with one arm.
Seeing Eula, the Hilichurls immediately attempted to retreat, but she wasn't going to let them off that easily.
With one arm around Lin Feng and the other wielding her heavy sword, Eula pursued the Hilichurls relentlessly. In the end, all the ordinary Hilichurls met their demise.
Feeling the chill from touching Lin Feng's right arm, Eula noticed his dangerously low body temperature. Without hesitation, she cradled him tightly in both arms, disregarding any gender-related concerns.
"Next time you run off like this, I won't save you!" Eula murmured, then swiftly sprinted towards the wooden hut, still holding Lin Feng securely.

Within Mondstadt, every user with a smartphone received an update notification.
Klee was engrossed at a particularly thrilling part of her reading, describing two bombs named "Little Boy" and "Fat Man," which could create massive craters by blowing up entire islands.
However, just as it delved into detailed preparation methods, her phone screen suddenly went black. She shook it vigorously, but no matter what she tried, it wouldn't light up again, leaving her feeling quite upset.
In haste, Klee rushed to find Captain Jean, since Jean had given her this device; surely, she expected Klee to create those powerful Jumpy Dumpty bombs from the book.
With her backpack slung over her shoulder, Klee sprinted towards Jean's office.
"Captain Jean, Klee's box won't light up anymore. Can you please help?" Klee looked pleadingly at Jean while waving her phone.
"Oh, let me think!" A relieved smile spread across Jean's face, knowing that whatever Klee enjoyed on the phone was better than experimenting with dangerous bombs!
"It seems your device has run out of power. It needs sunlight to recharge!" After a moment of consideration, Jean explained with a smile.
"The sun? Klee's on it!" With her question answered, Klee promptly dashed outside the Knights' headquarters.
"Ta-da! Big Sun, here comes Klee!" At the entrance of the Knights' quarters, she scanned her surroundings and eagerly sprinted towards the nearest patch of sunlight.
However, that spot quickly filled with people, and the sun continued its slow movement across the sky. Just as Klee reached beneath the rays, they began shifting again.
She immediately took a few more steps forward, pleading to the sun above, "Big Sun, please, oh please, don't move!"
Perhaps hearing Klee's plea or due to the luck of four-leaf clovers, the sunlight finally stopped moving, allowing Klee's phone to bask in its warmth.
Several others in the crowd held their phones high, believing this would absorb more sunlight.
Unfortunately, this blocked Klee's access to the sun. Feeling disheartened, she moved slightly to one side, but moments later, another person obstructed her sunlight once again.
Klee blinked; beside her, there was not even a speck of sunlight visible, and she felt close to tears. If she couldn't create those Jumpy Dumpties, Captain Jean would undoubtedly be disappointed.
However, soon enough, Klee's phone lit up with an update announcement.
"Klee has a Vision! La la la, no more sunbathing for me!" Klee giggled happily and sprinted back towards the Knights, silently thanking Barbatos' Vision.
Others noticed this as well, immediately intrigued by the prospect of faster charging methods. After all, spending days under direct sunlight risked turning them into coal.
"Charging anchor points identified! Proceed to these locations for rapid charging!"
After someone read aloud, they opened the map, revealing two anchor points—one above Mondstadt's department store and another at a high elevation nearby. Realizing there were two anchor points within Mondstadt, everyone hastily rushed to secure advantageous positions.
