After consuming the medicine, Lin Feng tightened his blankets and drifted back to sleep.

Eula hesitated for a moment before gently closing the door and leaving. As the Captain of the Reconnaissance Company, she had duties to attend to and couldn't stay indefinitely at the small wooden cabin.

As night fell, Eula returned to find Lin Feng still asleep, which immediately caused her concern.

"Lin Feng, Lin Feng, what's wrong?" She nudged him, but unfortunately, there was no response.

Quickly placing her hand on Lin Feng's forehead, she felt it burning hot, alarmingly so. If this continued, he risked severe brain damage.

Gritting her teeth, Eula wrapped Lin Feng tightly in the blanket, hoisted him over her shoulder, and sprinted towards Mondstadt.

"O great Barbatos, your devoted follower Barbara prays for the happiness and freedom of Mondstadt's people!"

Inside the church, Barbara stretched her arms before taking out her phone and pressing the play button.

"The great..."

Normally, Venti would have settled down to sleep by now, as prayers typically concluded earlier, allowing him a peaceful rest.

However, just as he closed his eyes on his bed, Barbara's prayer echoed again in his mind.

"Ahh..." Venti groaned aloud. Can't I get some sleep? How am I supposed to protect Mondstadt without proper rest?!

Eula carried Lin Feng to Mondstadt's entrance, where two guards immediately intercepted her.

"What's your business here so late? Do you have ulterior motives?" They grew cautious upon noticing something draped over Eula's shoulder.

What if she brought explosives to seek revenge against Mondstadt? It was hard to tell, especially considering her name, Eula Lawrence - known for holding grudges.

For the guard named Lawrence, there was deep hatred towards both the Lawrence Clan and his own gambling-addicted father. Bearing this cursed name always led to ridicule or scorn whenever mentioned.

"It's a person, sick and needing medical attention!" Eula replied coldly, her gaze filled with anger.

"Let...let her go!" The guard on the left waved his hand, perhaps sensing the chilling aura emanating from Eula. After hesitating briefly, Lawrence also stepped aside.

Eula swiftly carried Lin Feng over her shoulder and ran towards the church.

"Bang! Bang! Bang..." Eula forcefully pounded on the church's door, sounding extremely anxious.

Barbara gently opened the door with a warm smile, displaying the basic demeanor expected of a nun.

Originally, Barbara had planned to leave much earlier, but she spent considerable time tinkering with her phone today. Just as she was about to depart, she encountered Eula.

"Barbara, please help him quickly! His head is burning up!" As Eula spoke, she placed Lin Feng on the ground and unwrapped the blanket covering him.

Understanding the urgency, Barbara promptly checked Lin Feng's forehead for temperature. She immediately recognized him as the shop owner who sold her the phone.

"Good, you brought him just in time. Any later, and it could have damaged his brain." Barbara sighed in relief, swiftly fetching a towel, wetting it, and placing it on Lin Feng's forehead.

Hearing Barbara's reassurance, Eula finally let out a sigh of relief, fearing that Lin Feng might not make it.

As Barbara repeatedly changed the damp towels, Lin Feng's flushed face gradually regained its normal color.

"Water, I need water!" Lin Feng murmured weakly. Eula promptly poured him a glass, grateful that the church had dedicated cups for such purposes.

Lin Feng drank half of the warm water, licked his moistened lips, and finally felt some relief.

"Miss Barbara, how did I end up here?" Lin Feng looked at Barbara, puzzled.

"It was Eula..." Before Barbara could finish, Eula cleared her throat audibly.

"Hmph, I saw you were about to die at my place. Not wanting any trouble, I brought you here!" Eula glared at Lin Feng with a feigned arrogance.

Lin Feng smiled slightly and nodded, "Got it, consider this debt remembered!"

Eula rolled her eyes; mimicking her words was just plain mischievous - she'd never met someone so naughty!

Barbara covered her mouth, stifling a laugh as both their interactions seemed quite adorable.

Seeing Lin Feng recovered and considering they were in the church, Eula turned to Barbara, "Miss Barbara, is he alright now? If so, I'll take him with me. It's really late, and I apologize for troubling you."

Barbara waved her hand dismissively, "It's no problem at all. In fact, I should thank him for bringing the phone. Now, even during the night, we can pray to Lord Barbatos."

After speaking, Barbara walked to a storage area within the church, retrieved a few white pills, and handed them to Eula. "Take one pill three times a day, and you'll recover quickly."

Eula carefully accepted the medication with a nod. Then, she glanced at Lin Feng on the ground, swiftly wrapped him up like a burrito using the blanket, and hoisted him over her shoulder once again.

Under Barbara's astonished gaze, Eula carried Lin Feng away effortlessly.

Feeling as if he were being treated like a sack of potatoes, Lin Feng suggested, "Why don't you put me down? I can walk!"

"No need, this is faster!" Eula firmly declined without hesitation. With Lin Feng's slow pace, there was no telling when she'd finally get to sleep; after all, he had been snoozing all day.

"Grumble..." Suddenly, Lin Feng's stomach let out a loud rumble, reminding everyone that he hadn't eaten for an entire day.

Eula seemed to hear it too, pausing momentarily before glancing towards the nearby Good Hunter tavern. Though hesitant, remembering that Lin Feng hadn't eaten all day, she approached the establishment.

"Hello, could I please have one order of grilled steak? Thank you!" Eula scanned the menu filled with tempting dishes and chose a grilled steak, recalling that it was what Lin Feng had enjoyed previously.

"We're all out, completely sold!" Sara shook her head, her expression visibly displeased.

"How about Mondstadt Grilled Fish then?" Eula, sensing something amiss, still gave it a try.

"Sold out as well. Maybe come earlier next time!" Sara's tone was cold and dismissive; no matter how early one arrived, there would never be food for the Lawrence family here!

Lin Feng, already famished, felt his anger rising at Sara's attitude.

"But I see some right there! What else could you be grilling if not fish?!" Lin Feng pointed with his chin, directing everyone's attention to behind Sara.

"Ha! Even if there were, I'd rather feed my dogs than sell anything to someone from the Lawrence Clan!" Sara sneered, reflecting the widespread disdain for the Lawrences in Mondstadt.

(Note: Here, Sara represents the Good Hunter tavern, which indeed had refused to serve Eula before. For more details, please refer to "Understanding Eula - Part 1." The timing has been slightly adjusted to emphasize Eula's difficult situation, a narrative technique used.)

The other patrons laughed heartily upon hearing this, openly showing their support for Sara.

"That's right! See that bone on the ground over there? That's what people from the Lawrence Clan deserve!"

"Hey, that's insulting to dogs! They actually eat those scraps."

"I'll remember this grudge!" Eula glanced around indifferently before continuing, "Let's go," she said while carrying Lin Feng away.
