The last thing Hiroshi remembered was getting caught in the middle of a rainstorm on his way home. He had been hunched under a small, tattered umbrella that barely shielded him from the downpour. One moment he was stepping over a puddle, and the next, his vision went black. He blinked, his mind a foggy mess, and tried to remember where he was. But as his vision cleared, he realized he wasn't standing on the wet streets of Tokyo anymore.
Instead, Hiroshi found himself lying on soft, sun-warmed grass. Above him stretched an endless sky, painted with hues of blue so deep and vivid it felt unreal. Rolling hills and distant mountain ranges stood on the horizon. Birds chirped happily as if welcoming him. The air was fresh, crisp, and almost unnaturally pure, filling his lungs with a refreshing breath.
He sat up abruptly, his heart pounding in confusion. Around him were towering trees unlike any he'd ever seenātall, majestic, and exuding an ethereal glow. It all seemed strange, yet somehow familiar, as though he'd seen it in a dream.
"Where... am I?" Hiroshi murmured to himself, his voice barely a whisper. He touched the grass beneath him, half-expecting everything to vanish like a mirage. Instead, it felt real, almost too real.
A soft chime echoed through his head, startling him out of his thoughts. He froze for a moment, unsure if it was his imagination.
[Ding!]
A crisp bell sound rings in his mind. Hiroshi stops his action, looks up, and finds himself in a vast grassland. Not far away, a few slimes seem to be bouncing around.
Slowly lowering his body, Hiroshi lies on the ground, lifting his head slightly to look around, but there seems to be nothing unusual.
He looks down at the blue panel that has suddenly appeared before him, and a line of text appears on it.
[Would you like to join the Dimensional Chat Group?]
Hiroshi thinks this seems familiar since novels about chat groups have been quite popular in recent years, and he has read many similar stories.
It seems that he has crossed over, and his cheat has also arrived.
He clicks "Yes."
A new interface splits off from the blue panel, and the group announcement pops up.
A stream of information integrates naturally into Hiroshi's mind.
[Ding, Hiroshi has joined the Dimensional Chat Group]
Kazuma Satou: Despair! Why is my luck so bad? My teammates are just too strange!
Kuroneko: Hmph! Kazuma, do you think you're normal?
Kazuma Satou: Shut up, you chuunibyou loser tsundere loli!
Xiaohei: Hey, it seems like there's a newcomer. Stop arguing.
Kazuma Satou: Let me see! Oh, finally a newcomer! I hope it's a cute girl character.
Kuroneko: Wake up, Kazuma! Stop daydreaming in broad daylight. By the name, it's obviously a guy.
Xiaohei: @Hiroshi, welcome to the Dimensional Chat Group.
Hiroshi: Newbie reporting, good afternoon, everyone!
Hiroshi: Huh, there are only four people in the group including me?
Kazuma Satou: Did the newcomer accept the chat group so quickly this time?
Kazuma Satou: I also don't know. When I joined, there were only two peopleājust me and Kuroneko.
Hiroshi: Oh, so it's a newly established chat group. Information about the group chat integrated naturally into my mind when I joined. Besides, I've read plenty of chat group novels before.
Hiroshi: Plus, I just crossed over to a new world. What's there to not accept?
Kazuma Satou: Eh! You crossed over after dying too?
Hiroshi: No, I was just looking down to drink bubble tea, and suddenly I crossed over. Now, I'm lying on the ground.
Xiaohei: Hiroshi, why are you lying on the ground?
Hiroshi: Because there's a group of slimes not far away from me.
Xiaohei: ?? What are slimes?
Kuroneko: Slimes?
Kazuma Satou: Hahaha, you're lying on the ground just because of slimes? That's hilarious.
Hiroshi: (??ćø??ā¬), you, the reckless hero who got scared by a tractor, weren't you also hammered down when you first tried to defeat a frog?
Kazuma Satou: Wow, have you read works about me before?
Hiroshi: Hehehe, what do you think? You loli-con devilish hero, Kazuma!
Kuroneko: Ugh, it's like I can see a person made of garbage.
Xiaohei: Hiroshi, have you read any works about me?
Xiaohei: Kazuma and Kuroneko have only seen each other's works, but haven't found anything about me.
Hiroshi: Yeah, don't worry, Xiaohei. I've seen your works.
Opening the list of works on the chat group, Hiroshi sees that there are already titles like "My Little Sister Can't Be This Cute Season 1," "My Little Sister Can't Be This Cute Season 2," and "Konosuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World Season 1." There are two options below: Watch and Immersive Watch. For Hiroshi, only the "Watch" option is available, while "Immersive Watch" can only be used by those associated with a related scenario, and it also involves their own mindset in that scenario.
Hiroshi: @Xiaohei, @Kazuma Satou, I've watched some of your works. I'll upload the ones not in the group.
[Ding, Group Member Hiroshi uploaded "The Legend of Xiaohei, No Longer a Wanderer," "The Legend of Xiaohei 1-24," "Konosuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World Season 2," and "Konosuba: The Crimson Legend"]
[Ding, Group Member Hiroshi received 1,000 points]
Kazuma Satou: !!!
Kazuma Satou: Thank you, senior! I was getting a bit arrogant just now!
Xiaohei: @Hiroshi, thank you!
Hiroshi: @Xiaohei, no need to thank me. After all, Xiaohei is so cute. Besides, we both gain from this.
Kuroneko: Hoho, isn't this Kazuma-sama? Why are you bowing down now?
Kazuma Satou: @Kuroneko, shut up, you chuunibyou loser loli.
Kuroneko: Ha! Who are you calling a loser? I am now the Ultimate Fallen Angel Black Cat, how could I attend such a boring mortal gathering of like-minded people?
Kazuma Satou: @Hiroshi, senior, have you seen any of my other works?
Hiroshi: (āoā)ā¦, I'm just an anime fan; I've only seen these.
Hiroshi: @Xiaohei, Xiaohei, have you met Fengxi and Wuxian yet?
Xiaohei: Hmm, I'm on the way to Longyou Pavilion with Wuxian right now.
Hiroshi: Then hurry up and watch "The Legend of Xiaohei." Remember one thing: Master is the best person in the world!
Xiaohei: Oh, I'll go watch it right away. Yeah, I'll remember that.
Kuroneko: @Hiroshi, didn't you just say you crossed over? What are you planning to do?
Hiroshi: I'm planning to check out the shop and see if there's anything suitable to arm myself, then explore the surroundings and see if I can find anyone.
Kazuma Satou: Remember to buy the Adventurer Card I uploaded in the shop. It's optimized by the system, and not only can it be used in all worlds, but it can also be linked to the chat group to generate a game template.
Kuroneko: But there aren't too many things in the shop since there are only a few people in the group.
Hiroshi: Alright, I'll go check it out.
Kuroneko: @Kazuma Satou, have you seen any works related to Hiroshi?
Kazuma Satou: No, I've read quite a few crossover novels before, but there's no one named Hiroshi. But by the name, it seems normal; probably someone from fanfic novel.
Kazuma Satou: @Kuroneko, Kuroneko, when you have time, try to find some works about Hiroshi.
Kuroneko: Hmm, I'll try my best to look for them.
Lying in the grass, Hiroshi moves his somewhat sore body a little. He lifts his head slightly to look around; there's no strange movement.
He opens the shop interface on the blue panel, and only a few items appear.

"Big brother, what are you doing?"
Hiroshi, who was lying on the ground carefully checking his attribute panel, was startled and almost had a heart attack.
Rolling on the ground, Hiroshi distances himself from the source of the voice, half-squatting while looking in that direction.
A little girl was curiously looking at him.
Her delicate and cute face, with light golden long hair tucked into a fiery red hat, and her pointed ears indicated she wasn't human.
Hiroshi paused for a moment but remained vigilant. After all, it was strange for a little girl, who clearly wasn't human, to suddenly appear in the wilderness.
"Little sister, who are you? Why are you here?"
The little girl turned around, revealing a small backpack with a plush toy hanging from it. A red gemstone embedded in it sparkled brilliantly.
"Klee was planning to go to Starfell Lake to use the newly made Jumpy Dumpty to catch fish, but somehow ended up here. Big brother, do you want to play with Klee?"
!!!
The line seemed ingrained in Hiroshi's DNA. He stared wide-eyed at the little girl, who looked at him with her sparkling eyes.
Looking closely, isn't this Klee, the daughter from the Genshin Impact game he played!
Jumping up from the ground, Hiroshi looked up at the sky. A faint black dot appeared.
This is Teyvat Continent!
