Alex's eyes sparkled with a mischievous glint. "I know a place where we can lose them," she said.
Jack raised an eyebrow. "Where?"
Alex smiled. "The old warehouse district. It's a maze of streets and alleys. We can shake them off our tail."
Jake nodded. "Let's do it."
They sped towards the warehouse district, the SUV still hot on their heels. But as they entered the maze of streets, Alex's plan became clear.
She directed Jack through a series of sharp turns and narrow alleys, the SUV struggling to keep up. Finally, they emerged onto a deserted street, the SUV nowhere in sight.
They breathed a collective sigh of relief as Jack pulled into a deserted parking lot.
