Jake's eyes scanned the room, suspicion rising.
"Who is it?" Alex asked, alarm creeping into her voice.
Ryder's voice came through the radio, calm but urgent. "I don't know. But I've detected encrypted messages from within your group."
Maya's face paled. "That's impossible."
Sarah stepped back, eyes darting between Jake and Maya.
"Check the cabin," Jake ordered. "Now."
They searched every inch, but found nothing.
"Maybe Ryder's wrong," Alex suggested.
Jake shook his head. "Ryder's never wrong."
Just then, Maya's phone buzzed.
"A message from Ryder," she said, eyes scanning the screen. "Meet me at the old warehouse at midnight."
"Why?" Jake asked.
Maya's expression turned grim. "Ryder thinks he's identified the mole."
Midnight. The old warehouse loomed before them.
"Stay sharp," Jake whispered.
Inside, Ryder waited, flanked by two hooded figures.
"The mole," Ryder announced, "is one of your own."
Jake's eyes locked onto his companions. Alex, Sarah, or Maya?
Ryder gestured to the figures. "These are my allies. They'll help us uncover the truth."
But as Jake approached, one figure stepped forward.
A shocking revelation:
"It's me," Sarah said, tears streaming down her face. "I'm the mole."
Jake's world crumbled.
Why, Sarah? Why?
