Chapter 19 - Serious Matter

"I have a very serious matter to discuss with you, Arthur," Endever said, finally addressing the main topic after taking a calming sip of coffee.

"Oh? What is it this time?" Arthur asked, his tone exaggeratedly indifferent, as if he was disappointed rather than concerned. "Is it about work again?"

Endever sighed, understanding that Arthur's personality was anything but serious. Despite Arthur being one of the most influential men in the world, his casual demeanor could be infuriating. Endever knew exactly how to handle him, having dealt with his antics before.

Endever glanced at Aria, who had created an imposing throne of ice and was seated regally, legs crossed, sipping her tea with an air of icy superiority. It was as if she were competing with Arthur to demonstrate that her seat was more significant than his.

Recognizing their little games, Endever chose not to react and addressed Aria directly. "Aria, will you help me make Arthur take this matter seriously? It's really important."

Aria merely looked at Arthur and took another sip from her cup, maintaining her detached demeanor. Arthur flinched at her action

"Ah, buddy," Arthur said, with an exaggerated sigh. "I heard you're giving a mission to take out this Klark guy's relatives and that too to the entire WMA.

I checked his background, and he's not exactly a big deal. You never put any mission on whole wma unless it's a world-ending situation. What could this guy possibly have done to deserve such an honor i mean even if you wanted to go all out war on some country you wouldn't do that

Endever felt his frustration rising. Arthur's nonchalance was infuriating, and Endever's patience was wearing thin.

Despite knowing he could physically overpower Arthur, he restrained himself, knowing a physical confrontation wouldn't solve the problem. Instead, he decided to deliver a figurative punch.

"You won't believe me if I told you," Endever said, trying to keep his voice steady despite the frustration. "But here's what happened: This guy crucioed someone."

Arthur raised an eyebrow, looking unimpressed. "Oh? And who lost to this guy? Is it a kid or something i mean this weakling ...

sighhh This generation is indeed disappointing."

Endever looked at Aria again for support, but she merely continued to sip her tea calmly, her silence implying agreement with Arthur's dismissive attitude.

Endever's anger flared, but he managed to keep it in check. He knew he couldnt beat some sense into Arthur,

so he refrained, focusing instead on conveying the seriousness of the situation.

"Okay, let me clarify," Endever said, his voice laced with frustration and boundless anger.

"This guy tortured Valentino."

Arthur, who had been casually sipping his tea, suddenly spat it out, the liquid narrowly missing Endever.

Endever, using his magic, made the tea disappear before it could land near him. Arthur's reaction was one of pure disbelief, followed by uproarious laughter.

"Hahaha! That's the best joke I've heard in ages!" Arthur exclaimed, slapping the table and holding his stomach as he laughed. "I haven't laughed this much in years!"acting like a kid who heard a joke for first time

no strongest person or most idolist person in world could be seen in this guy

Aria, despite her usual cold demeanor, had a small smile on her face, clearly amused by Arthur's reaction. Endever, however, had black lines of frustration all over his face.

"Stop it, Shadow! I'm serious this time!"

Endever finally couldn't contain himself and stood up, slapping the table with enough force to make it shake. However, the table remained unmoved.

"Are you serious?" Arthur asked, scratching his head still not fully grasping the gravity of the situation. He looked at Aria, who had a surprised expression, clearly not accustomed to seeing Endever lose his cool.

This level of emotional outburst was rare from someone of Endever's stature, making the situation all the more alarming.

"Arthur, I think we should listen to him seriously," Aria said in her usual cold tone. Her words carried an authority that made Arthur flinch.

"Yes, wifey," Arthur responded with a mock salute, though his eyes showed genuine concern.

Aria narrowed her eyes at him, which made Arthur flinch again. "Okay, continue and explain it in a language we can understand, Mr. Jett."

Endever took a deep breath, sitting back down to calm himself. "Yes, alright."

Wait, I thought you were joking. How could someone even hurt her, let alone torture her Arthur said, finally taking the matter seriously. His demeanor shifted as he realized the gravity of the situation.

Everyone knew there was only one person with the surname Valentino she was the sole heir of her family, making the news of her being harmed almost inconceivable.

Endever sighed, realizing that his earlier frustration had made him less clear in his explanations. He needed to be more precise.

My apologies. Let me start again. Someone tortured the son of

Liliana G won Valentino.

The room's temperature seemed to drop as the full name was pronounced. A palpable chill filled the space.

Arthur's eyes twitched, and he nearly fell from his chair, his previous levity replaced by a stark realization of the severity of the situation.
