Chapter 20 - File (7S-53)

"What again?" Arthur said, his jaw dropping as he tried to clear his ears, as if he had heard it incorrectly. Disbelief was evident on his face.

Endever, keeping a straight face and showing no emotion, asked, "Why did you put concealment spells on again? I already did that when I arrived."

Arthur, dismissing the seriousness of the situation, responded, "Are you stupid or something? It's not my problem if you're weak. You only put one concealment spell on. Learn from me; I put on ten at once." He gestured as if to emphasize his point. "And you know you can't utter her name out loud. It's forbidden."

endever didn't said anything when called when there might not be many people in world who can call him weak

and Arthur does have power to back his words up

"Wait, did you say that queen Valentino has a son?" Aria interjected suddenly, her concern shifting from Arthur's casual attitude to the actual issue at hand.

Endever, seeing that his attempt to convey the gravity of the situation was failing, thought if he revealed the torture of her son, they might offer ways to mitigate the situation. However, they weren't reacting as he expected.

"Wait a moment, let me sort everything out. I'm getting confused," Arthur said, standing up in frustration. "This topic is becoming increasingly complicated." Despite understanding every word Jett said, he struggled to make sense of it all.

Endever finally breathed a sigh of relief as Arthur's seriousness indicated that he had managed to convey the urgency of the matter. "Alright, I'll be the one asking questions now, and you'll answer. Don't confuse me," Arthur said, sitting down with renewed seriousness.

The gravity of Endever mentioning a forbidden name was evident. Using such a name was akin to bringing a nuclear bomb into a school building.

Aria, who had been silent until now, set her coffee cup down, signaling that she was now taking the situation seriously.

"First question: Jett, you said that queen Valentino has a child. Am I right?" Arthur asked, his voice strained as he grappled with the weight of his words.

"Yes, that's what I said," Endever replied, though he could hardly believe it himself. If he hadn't seen the evidences such as the boy's real name, his strong will, and his ability to use blood abilities, which was unique to Queen Valentino id not he might never had bleived this shit

"You know how hard it is to believe and accept this, right?" Arthur said, placing his palm on his face in disbelief.

"You know how much weight your words carry, Mr. Jett," Aria interjected, cutting Arthur off.

"Yes, I know. Believe me, I really didn't want to get involved if the matter

if its wasn't this serious. This secret would have remained with me until I died.

I'm taking a huge risk telling you.guys, so please don't treat this lightly," Endever said, his face reflecting the seriousness of the situation.

Aria and Arthur exchanged glances, their eyes showing their concern, before turning their attention back to Endever.

"Okay, we believe you, Jett. We know your character quite well," Arthur said after a moment of consideration.

"So how did you find out about her son, and what do you mean by being tortured?" Aria asked, her confusion evident. "Can someone really dare to touch her son? And if they did, why are you telling us i don't think that person might even have his ash remains on this world or he might be living on her that eternal prison aria body trembled subconsciously when talking about eternal prison

It should be Queen Valentino's responsibility to handle this, and even if we wanted to interfere, we lack the strength and the right. Moreover, we've never heard of the vampire queen having any children until now."

Aria's doubts were valid. Despite knowing that the Valentinos kept their affairs hidden, the existence of a child should have been known to the world's powerhouses to avoid accidentally harming him.

Her concerns highlighted the complexity of the situation, given she didn't know the full story.

"Yes, you're right, Miss Aria. It was my mistake not to clarify things earlier. It was unprofessional of me," Endever admitted, acknowledging his errors. His excitement and fear had clouded his explanation.

"Let me start from the beginning," Endever said, tapping on his watch. A technological light screen appeared, floating in the air. No one was surprised, as such technology was common for them.

Endever directed the screen to one side of the room where everyone could see it clearly. "Ella, open file 7S-53."

"Are you sure, sir? We're in public, and this file is restricted under tenth-level authority. I wouldn't recommend displaying it," Ella said in her usual robotic tone.

Arthur and Aria were surprised by the level of authority. They exchanged glances before turning their attention back to the screen.

"I give you permission, Ella. Proceed," Endever said firmly.

"As you command, sir," Ella responded. The red restricted letters from the file disappeared, and the document opened.

The file's title read: "Dark Mage Tortured Civilian."

- Dark Mage Name:Klark Sivir (Judged to be a B+ rank criminal, deceased)

- Victim/Survivor:Lucian Valentino (civilian,alive)

Arthur and Aria's eyes were glued to the glowing red name of the victim, which stood out among the other text.

"Lucian Valentino..." The name glowed in blood-red color, highlighted by the system itself.

Both Arthur and Aria quickly read the file, grasping the gravity of the situation.

Arthur sighed deeply, his forehead creased with a headache from the complexity of the issue. Aria also frowned, her concern evident.

"So the boy claims he never saw his parents and has been in an orphanage since birth?"

Aria asked, more concerned about the boy's claims.

"Yes, that's what the reports indicate," Endever confirmed, noting Aria's growing confusion.

Aria's focus shifted between the file and End

she said "So many inconsistencies and questions remain. This doesn't add up.

Aria's doubts, though logical, underscored the complexity of the situation. Endever knew he had more to explain, but hoped that this revelation would now be taken seriously.
