Chapter 12 - PreHistoric - 3

Upon hearing Graiger, I say, "They probably evolved from them, since they're attacking this species," pointing to the Silurians being attacked by the Cyber-Silurians.

**POV - ■■■■■■**

After saying this, I point the identifier at the species, and it reports:

"DNA identified.

Species: Homo-Reptilia, also known as Silurians.

A species from the planet called Earth.

Diet: Carnivores

Currently: Existing."

"Look, they still exist in our time, it seems," I say, showing Graiger, who is watching the Silurians fighting against the Cyber-Silurians.

"Yes, it's impressive that they evolved to this level. The Cyber are riding various animals and using several weapons," Graiger comments.

"Look, that one has a hand shaped like a laser weapon. Most of them are using separate laser weapons," I say, pointing to one riding a dinosaur.

"Analyze those animals they're riding. Maybe we can get one for ourselves, especially that one with horns and a big mane," Graiger suggests, excited by the idea of riding these animals.

"Okay," I reply, starting to point to the dinosaurs.

"DNA identified.

Species: Styracosaurus

A species from the planet called Earth lived in the Cretaceous period.

Diet: Herbivore

Currently: Extinct."

"DNA identified.

Species: Aucasaurus

A species from the planet called Earth lived in the Cretaceous period.

Diet: Carnivore

Currently: Extinct."

"DNA identified.

Species: Tyrannosaurus

A species from the planet called Earth lived in the Cretaceous period.

Diet: Carnivore

Currently: Extinct."

"Oh, several new species! I'll catalog them in my holoprojector when we get back," I say to Graiger.

"Yes, especially that Tyrannosaurus. It is impressive and fierce," Graiger says with fascination.

'Seems plausible, since we're seeing entirely new species, different from those on Gallifrey.' As I think this, I get a bad feeling and turn around, only to see at least 15 Silurians pointing weapons at us.

"Graiger, hands up!" I shout.

"We're not here to fight," I say to the Silurians, who look at us with suspicion. 'Good thing we entered the TARDIS and have the universal translator,' I think, breathing a sigh of relief.

"You, who are you? You seem weak, without any scales," the Silurian, who seems to be the leader, says.

'I guess that makes sense; humans don't even have the intention of being born yet,' I think and start making up an excuse.

"I'm Braz, and this is my friend Ross. We got lost from our planet and ended up passing through a rift, landing here," I say, and Graiger looks at me strangely because of the names.

"So, did you come along with the Cybermen?" the leader asks with a threatening tone, and all the other 14 point their weapons at us even more.

"No!" I raise my voice. "No, we just fell here in a cave at least 25 minutes away and came to see the explosion, right, Ross?"

Graiger, who had been quiet, with a fixed gaze on the leader, agrees: "Yes, we fell into a cave."

The leader frowns, speaks to one of his men, and then says, "You will come with us. We don't trust you. If you work for the destroyers, we will execute you or use you as hostages."

"Silurians, take them," the leader orders.

As he says this, another explosion occurs, causing the ground to shake. "Quickly, Silurians, we don't have time. We must evacuate now. They have taken this area. We must flee immediately," the leader says, and we see three transport vehicles, similar to drills, rising from the ground.

"Get in, now," the leader commands in a threatening tone.

We enter the first vehicle that opens, with five more Silurians and the leader.

"So, what are you? You don't seem afraid of us, but rather fascinated," the leader comments with discontent.

"We are Time Lords. We're fascinated because it's the first time we've seen other sentient beings like us, especially mixed with reptiles," I say with some enthusiasm, realizing they aren't so hostile since we haven't posed any threat.

"Fancy name for a species. Do your people think they're divine?" the leader asks with intrigue.

"Maybe," I shrug. "Why don't the others speak? I've only heard you so far," I ask the leader.

"For the same reason your friend doesn't speak much either; we are analyzing you," he says, pointing to Graiger, who is observing the Silurians.

'Interesting, Graiger is showing his prodigy commander's mind.' Thinking this, I whisper to Graiger, "So, are you having fun?"

"What did you say? No private communication," the leader says, pointing his weapon.

"Calm down, I was just asking if he is finding our adventure fun. We left our city to explore our planet and ended up here, in a new world, and we're excited to learn more," I explain.

"Yes, Braz, it's fun. I'm recording all the species in my mind," Graiger replies, still cautious but fascinated by the new species in front of us.

"Leader, we've arrived," one of the Silurians informs.

"Okay, escort our prisoners," the leader orders.

"We have a warning," I say hastily, remembering what they were going to do to the Doctor when he went to the Silurian's cave.

"Speak," the leader replies with an inquisitive air.

"If something happens to us, your species is in danger," I warn.

"Are you threatening us? Do you think we're weak? We are the mighty Silurian race," the leader says with a threatening tone.

"No, it's just a warning. We are from two of the most powerful houses in our world, and two of the most anticipated prodigies in our houses. Our people can destroy planets and stars, and the boy you see beside me is the heir to one of the houses. So if you want to go to 'war' with our people, good luck," I say. "Well, it won't even be a war; it will be a massacre, but who am I to say," I add sarcastically.

"No race has that power; we will never lose," the leader says. "Guards, take them to the chamber; we must analyze them."

'Seems like he pretended to lower his guard a bit, interesting. No, focus. I can't let them open me and Graiger up.'

"We can help in this war!" I shout to the leader. "My people have already destroyed many of them in wars, and the two of us are geniuses. We can help design a bomb or weapon to eliminate these Cybermen."

Upon hearing this, the leader stops in his tracks. 'Seems like he got interested.'

Author's Note: I never thought writing an adventure would be so difficult. Remembering all the characters and giving them lines without forgetting the others around is complicated. It's challenging to control the point of view.
