In a universe far removed from "Doctor Who", there was a man who lived his life without any joy. He lost his parents very early, so early that he didn't even remember their faces. He lived a monotonous life: he woke up, ate, and went to work. His only escape was a TV series, and the one he liked most was "Doctor Who", a series about a time traveler.

I work in an office, and my salary is good enough to live "comfortably". I didn't have a girlfriend or very close friends, and one of my few forms of fun or escape was watching series like Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, The Vampire Diaries, and The Originals. But my favorite series was Doctor Who, a series about a being who calls himself "The Doctor", who lives adventures and saves entire civilizations.
"It's a shame that Doctor Who hasn't returned yet. The last Doctor was very good, Peter Capaldi, and was regenerated into Jodie. It looks like this Doctor's new season will come out in 2018. I can't wait to see what it will be like."

One day, as I was leaving work, I passed an empty street.
"Why is the street so empty?"
A bright light fell right in front of me, like a cube the size of 3 centimeters. It opened, and I tilted my head to see what it was. "But there's nothing? Where did this come from? It looks like those cubes from Doctor Who season 7. Weird."
"Does it stop the heart too?"
That's when I started to feel a tingling in my chest, and my heart received an electrical impulse and started to stop. "Why did I say that? Ouch, that hurts."
My consciousness began to disappear as if someone was sucking it away. "Am I going to die like this? With an electrical impulse in my heart? If I had two, like the Doctor, it would have been really good."

**LOCATION: EMPTY**
A transparent, bluish body was floating aimlessly in the void. He appeared to be asleep, with his eyes closed. That was when a figure with clothes that resembled the Greek gods appeared in the void and, with some kind of power, picked him up and took him somewhere inside the void.

"What? Where am I? I remember leaving work and a cube appeared and killed me. Wasn't I supposed to be dead?"
A loud, booming, and rather deep voice spoke, "Yes, you should be dead; in fact, you are dead, hahaha."
I turn around and see a being in the clothes of Greek gods, with his face completely covered in a bright light. "Who are you? And that's not funny, I died pathetically. Who killed me?"
That's when the being said: "For me, it is, hahaha. To answer your question, I'm basically a god. And you died because I took a cube out of a series called Doctor Who and dropped it in some random world. You It was just unlucky."
I am amazed at the revelation. "So I died because you threw a cube? IS THAT SERIOUS? I died because of your will?"
The being says: "Not my will. Your bad luck. But, since you are all stressed out and, in some way, I am to blame for this, I let you ask 2 things from me and choose where I can send you, besides choosing your story before you remember everything. I thought your soul would disappear into the void, but not everything we expect happens, unfortunately."
I start to think about what he said and I'm going to pretend I didn't hear those last words. I had already thought about this because of those isekai animes and fanfics of dubious content that I read. "2? Weren't there 3 in the fanfics?"
The being looks and I can feel him narrow his eyes. "Only 2. If you don't accept it, you won't have any."
"Okay, okay, no need to be so grumpy. I want to be reincarnated as a Time Lord with almost 507 regenerations. And I want a TARDIS of my own, that no one can fly without my permission."
The being then says: "Okay, that's easy. Now, where do you want to go? With these requests, I even know."
I blink and say, "For the Doctor Who universe, obviously. I want to exist before the Doctor was born on the Looms."
The being thinks and says: "Okay, now get out of my sight and I hope I never see you again."
Before I can say anything, I'm pulled somewhere I don't know.

**LOCATION: GALLIFREY**
**TIME: 10 MILLION YEARS BEFORE THE TIME WAR**
"Rassilon, you are becoming a tyrant. You locked away Gallifrey and all the other 5 founders. Do you know this could turn against you?"
An old man turns to the speaker. "Eutenoyar, you've always been my friend, and this is how you're betraying me, making plans with The Other!?"
A man next to Eutenoyar, called The Other, speaks: "We were never traitors, you are the one who lost your power and is locking Gallifrey away. We both never wanted to be trapped. We want to know the universe and explore planets, and with you in power, no Time Lord will be able to leave Gallifrey."
Rassilon speaks: "I created the Time Lords, I have the right to take over and decide what happens to our race. You, for your crimes, will be imprisoned in the Death Zone until you have reflected on your crimes."
Eutenoyar speaks: "I would never accept being arrested by you. We also help you with the Time Lord research, just like Omega, and we have as many rights as you."
Rassilon: "Guards, take these criminals to the Death Zone."
The Other says, "I will never, ever be trapped." He takes out a sonic screwdriver and opens the Time Lord Looms, throws himself inside, being torn into several pieces, waiting to be rebuilt in another life.
Eutenoyar, seeing no other alternative escape, throws himself into the Looms, suffering the same fate as The Other.

"What? That god reincarnated me as Eutenoyar, one of the 'supposed' founders of the Time Lord Citadel, and made me fall into the Loom as The Other."
