The next day all the students were called to the assembly hall for the headmaster to fully address them. On the way there I thought I saw someone I knew.
I looked closely and saw that it was Theodora. Before I could call out to her, she saw me and came running. "Hi kelvin, I didn't expect to meet you on the way to the assembly hall. " She then looked at Timothy who was standing next to me.
Theodora- Timothy, long time no see.
Kelvin- Wait? The two of you know each other.
Theodora- Well, we are related. Our dads are brothers.
Kelvin- I guess that makes sense. Timothy, you do look a bit like Theo.
Theodora- Did you just call me Theo?
Timothy- What about me, call me Tim-O.
Kelvin- Not a chance.
She was happy and suddenly hugged me, "that makes me happy. " I was caught by surprise and turned red a little. She was the first girl that hugged me after my childhood friend.
In the assembly hall, every first year gathered and occupied the sits that were placed out in advanced. The three of us sat next to each other in the third row which had a good view of the stage.
After the performance by the second years which was surprisingly good, the headmaster appeared on stage, and everyone applauded. He introduced himself and his faculty and formally welcomed the new students to Sakura High.
He finished going through various activities and explained the classes of Sakura High and the class selection. He welcomed to the stage, eight students that showed promise in the mana test.
"May we welcome to the stage the following students. David Destroyer, Elizabeth Kennidy, Kelvin Karuta, Timothy Tencent, Theodora Tencent, Oliver Shidono, Richard Mali and last but not least, Ben Sammy. "
I was shocked, "wait, me too." Me of all people, but I scored low on the mana test. A student at the back of the assembly hall stood up as if on que and begun to walk towards the stage.
Out of nowhere, an intimidating aura was suddenly present and filled up the whole room. Everyone suddenly kept completely silent. One person emitting an aura had scared 400 students in the room. He was a boy with same age, height as me, black hair and purple eyes with a certain crest on the back of his jacket.
Isn't that the son of the current Destroyer. The students begun to talk amongst themselves. A few more seconds later, the assembly hall door swung open and a more culming aura filled the room.
It was a girl with sky blue long hair and blue eyes with the royal crest on the back of her outfit, escorted by a bodyguard. That's the second princess. What is she doing here. I heard she was going to attend a magic high school but why Sakura. There's another magic school that's better.
More and more students begun to talk, and the chatter seem endless. Theodora and Timothy stood up. "Come on, lets show off our aura as well, " Theo said. In that moment I knew why I was here in the first place, became stronger and go back home to fore fill my promise to Mari.
I became serious, of the three, my aura was the most terrifying, second to the first boy who walked up to the stage. All the mentioned students gathered on stage.
" These are the strongest first years in the history of the school," the headmaster said into the mic. "They will be a fighting tournament between these students to show off their strength. "
"When the winner is decided, the orientation will begin. '
Everyone was caught by surprise. At the side of the stage the Student Body President spook to himself, " well, this is the first time this is happening.
