Ryan tilted his head slightly, as if considering what he had just heard. "Hmph... I understand. But, who are you really?" Ryan asked, this time with a calmer tone but full of caution.
"My name is Rosseline. But you can call me Rosse." The girl smiled, though it seemed forced, making an effort to appear friendly and approachable. "I'm a journalist from the Allen Empire. I came to the Dement Kingdom to find interesting news. From the information I've gathered, something big is happening here. That's why I decided to come to this place."
Rosse tried to get closer, attempting several times to flirt with intimate gestures to catch Ryan's attention. However, Rosse's efforts were in vain. Ryan's gaze remained cold and unwavering, his thoughts focused solely on one thing—Mr. Welos.
The description provided by Rosse made Ryan even more suspicious. Mr. Welos, the mysterious nobleman, was believed to have killed the previous Head of the Perliand Family using dark powers—the Strange Black Mud. Just like the one that nearly took Rosse's life.
However, Ryan was not entirely sure about Welos's true abilities. One thing that made Ryan think was that Welos was a nobleman, but strangely, according to Rosse's observations, the man had no guards. This was quite unusual, and perhaps even very dangerous.
"A nobleman should always have at least one or two guards," Ryan thought to himself. "But if Welos has none, there are two possibilities: the man is very strong and confident in his own power, or he has another reason for choosing not to bring guards. Perhaps he has hidden protection, or maybe he is just arrogant."
These thoughts swirled in Ryan's mind. If the first possibility was true, then Ryan knew he had to be cautious. Facing a strong enemy without preparation could be fatal. However, if the second possibility was true, then Welos might be more dangerous than he appeared. An arrogant man, or one with secret protection, could pose a greater threat.
Ryan knew he had to find out more about Welos. His new mission could not be taken lightly. After successfully dealing with the Strange Black Mud that came from Rosse's mouth and completing his previous mission, Ryan was now faced with a more challenging task—killing Mr. Welos.
"There's no other way," Ryan thought, his gaze returning to Rosse, who was still trying hard to gain his attention. "I must find a way to defeat Welos, and I need to know more about him before making my next move."
This made Ryan wonder why this Chain Mission was appearing consecutively. Although annoyed at having to accept a murder mission for the second time, Ryan did not reject the fate that had been given to him.
However, Ryan knew that killing a nobleman was not an easy task, especially when that nobleman held so many mysteries behind him. Therefore, Ryan pondered, planning each step carefully.
"Ellina, Charlotte, you stay here and keep an eye on this girl," Ryan ordered, shifting his attention to the two women who had long faithfully accompanied him.
"We understand, Young Master," Ellina replied, nodding her head calmly.
"Of course, Master!" Charlotte nodded with a sweet smile, her expression showing genuine confidence.
Ryan nodded once more before turning and stepping toward the wall. With a relaxed movement, Ryan passed through the wall.
There, Ryan activated the Reality Marble, a skill that allowed him to manipulate the reality around him. Before him appeared a grim-faced skull mask. Ryan stared at the mask with a thin smile gracing his lips, hiding something behind his cold gaze. Ryan knew that this mask was the key to his new identity.
