Aunt Amelita smiled at Uncle Theo's antics as he entertained her with tales of his youth when he had always pranked Selena, Celeste's mother.
But her thoughts kept wandering. She had seen Lorenzo come in with most of his men looking unscathed and he had given her a short nod which meant that everything was alright.
However it had been over 30 minutes and no sign of anyone, neither Lorenzo nor Celeste. The guests were starting to question their absence, though most kept their curiosity to themselves out of fear of Lorenzo.
"Aunt Amelia" someone called from behind in a hesitant voice.
She turned to her left to see Lucia approaching, and she looked like she was on the verge of passing out which started the alarm bells ringing in Aunt Amelita's head.
"Is someone dead Lucia? Look alive please" She said in a sharp tone.
"No...It's a message from the Boss...he said...well...the thing is she knows" Lucia blurted out as she got closer.
