When the girls woke up they were greeted by a smell of food that made their stomachs growl and their mouths watering.
When they came out of the shelter they were greeted by a sight of a kettle on a tripod over the fire and it was the source of the aroma.
-Good morning ladies.
Paul greeted them as he was adding some spices to the stew that he was preparing.
-Good morning master.
They greeted him back.
Then they noticed many more things that they had never seen in their small camp.
There were cups, plates, spoons, forks and they were neatly prepared on a table that they had no idea where it came from.
-Master, where did all this come from?
Mia asked.
-I took it from the corpses that we found yesterday.
Paul simply stated.
He knew that it was completely legal to take these things and in exchange he had to give burial to the people that he took it from.
That was the custom and he intended to follow it as there were too many people that simply took the things of the dead and left their bodies to be eaten by the beasts.
-Those are for you two.
Paul said and presented both girls with spatial bracelets that formerly belonged to the noble girls.
-What is this thing?
Maya asked as she had never seen a spatial device before.
-They are spatial bracelets and now they are yours.
Both girls were happy to receive such a gift.
Paul then proceeded to instruct them how to form a connection with the device and how to use it.
Both girls loved their new gifts as this would make it easier for them to transport things and also both bracelets were pretty and which woman doesn't like pretty things.
-There is more but we will discuss it after breakfast.
Paul said while putting some of the stew into a bowl in his hand.
During the meal he discovered that the girls had no idea how to use utensils so he demonstrated for them as they needed to learn some table manners since in a few days they would leave this place and go to the nearest settlement.
He didn't want anyone to say that the girls were just like goblins and since he was raised by his mother and step father most of his life he was taught the table manners from a young age and now he was instructing the girls on how to eat like a human and with a proper etiquette.
When he was taught this himself he hated it as his mother was very strict about this kind of thing.
Now that he was teaching the same thing to others he knew that it wasn't that easy and he was grateful to his mother for all the long hours she put in to make him into a proper gentleman.
It took some time for the girls to properly use their tableware but they managed to do it even if the effect was quite comical.
They tried their best to mimic their masters moves but it was hard for them as this was their first time eating at the table and using the human cutlery.
-Now ladies we need to teach you some more things,especially about the human customs but before that I will teach you both how to swim as this is important now that the river might be the only way for us to escape.
Paul announced after the meal.
Both girls were clueless about what he was going to teach them about human customs but they were eager to learn how to swim.
All three of them went to the place that they normally used for Qi cultivation and both girls wanted to undress as they evidently had to go into the water but Paul stopped them.
-You don't have to strip your clothes as this is the last time you will be wearing them.
-But Master we don't have any other clothing.
Mia said.
-You do and they are all in your bracelets as you need to learn how to walk in human clothes and also you will need to wear shoes.
Bare feet,loincloths and pieces of fabric that barely cover you up won't cut it in the human world.
You both are humans now and need to look like humans as well, especially since we now have clothes for you to wear.
Paul explained and he was right as if they entered the human settlement in what they were wearing now then thanks to their green skin and ash gray hair they would be immediately discriminated against as goblins and humans never liked goblins to begin with.
Both girls understood what he ment and without any more delay they went into the water.
Paul wasn't really going to wear the clothes that he had on either but it would be hard for him to swim in clothes and military boots.
He took his clothes off leaving only his boxers and went into the water,leaving his crutches and clothes on the shore.
The girls were a little shy seeing their master almost naked but after a few minutes they got used to it and they had to think about other things when he started explaining to them how to swim.
Both girls learned fast and when he demonstrated that even when he was lying on the water without moving and didn't sink they also tried and in a few tries they were able to keep their balance from there it was easy as the girls confidence grew with each successful exercise they performed.
By noon both girls had learned how to swim and all that was left was for them to practice as they needed some more experience in their new skill.
After they got out of the water Paul used the spatial device on his neck as the one he used was a pendant,to summon a tent for himself and he instructed the girls to do the same.
He told them to dry themselves with a towel and to wear the training clothes he found in the young noble ladies devices earlier.
He also changed his clothes to the ones from the young man's device and it fitted him better than he thought even if it was a bit too big for him right now.
Right now he was wearing a black training set which consisted of pants, a sleeveless shirt and a belt.
If one didn't pay close attention to it then they might think that he was a young master from some big family that went out to train.
Paul stored his clothes into his own storage space before going out and storing his tent in a spatial device.
The ladies took longer to get ready but once Paul saw them in their new clothes his jaw hit the ground.
They were both stunning in their clothes.
Maya wore a light green training dress that was contrasting with her skin color and gave her the aura of an energetic but calm girl.
Mia on the other hand was wearing a dark blue training dress and if not for her green skin then some people could easily believe that she was a young miss of a great clan.
-Master,why do human women have so many clothes and shoes?
Mia asked as she took a look inside of the spatial device earlier and found dozens of outfits inside.
-That is a question that only a woman can answer as no man can figure that out.
