Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: Clearing Out Seviper

Manager Carl offered a considerable price, but Felix hoped for an even higher return.

After some haggling, Felix successfully sold several thousand kilograms of Berries, earning 880,000 Pokémon Dollars.

He was very satisfied, knowing that this money would provide important financial support for the ranch's development.

Manager Carl also expressed that if Felix could provide more high-quality Berries, he would be willing to pay a higher price.

Felix agreed, understanding that cooperation with the Forest Berry Company would bring more opportunities to the ranch.

Dinner was a large lamb barbecue. After eating, Felix took out his phone to watch some shows but was attracted by the beeping sound of a group chat. He found it was his classmates' group.

Upon entering, he saw that his classmates were all showing off their Pokémon.

Felix shared a selfie with his Mightyena in the group chat.

In the photo, he and his Mightyena stood in the ranch's orchard, smiling with a background of trees laden with fruit.

His classmates commented excitedly.

"Wow, Felix, your Mightyena is so impressive!"

"I wish I had such Pokémon too!"

"Felix, how did you do it? Can you teach me?"

"Jealous! I also want such Pokémon."

Reading his classmates' comments, Felix felt a sense of pride.

He knew his efforts and perseverance had paid off.

Of course, hard work and the system (his unique advantage) were essentially the same thing.

He replied, "As long as you understand and care for your Pokémon, they will become strong too."

His classmates expressed their desire to learn from him, and the title of "boss" in the group chat made Felix feel quite proud.

After chatting for a while, Felix cuddled up with Growlithe and Cinccino and fell asleep.

The next morning after breakfast, Felix took ten Mightyena to the Seviper's nest.

Facing twenty Seviper, they showed no fear.

The Mightyena lined up, ready for the challenge.

The Seviper attacked first, but the Mightyena nimbly dodged and counterattacked with Tackle and Bite.

Their attacks were fierce, and the Seviper retreated step by step. Felix watched the battle, full of anticipation.

He knew that the Mightyena had evolved, and now their strength was incomparable to before.

Facing twice as many Seviper, Felix was confident his Mightyena would eventually win.

The battle lasted a long time, with the Seviper being beaten back and ultimately defeated.

The Mightyena emerged victorious, and Felix was very pleased.

Pokémon: Seviper ×20

Potential: Beginner

Strength: Beginner (67.9%)

After inspecting the Seviper's potential and shaking his head, Felix ordered the Mightyena to throw these Pokémon out of the ranch.

The Seviper's low potential didn't meet Felix's standards. They weren't like special Pokémon such as Mareep, which produced wool, or Miltank, which produced milk.

Given the Seviper's fierce and rebellious nature, keeping them in the ranch would be a risk, so it was the best choice to remove them.

Felix discovered a Teddiursa in the woods of the ranch, stealing honey from a hive.

A Beedrill noticed the Teddiursa and started chasing it.

Panicking, the Teddiursa ran around frantically.

Felix quickly took out some Berries to calm the Beedrill's anger.

"Stop chasing, stop chasing, look, there's something tastier here." Felix used the Berries to lure the Beedrill.

The Beedrill, attracted by the smell of the Berries, stopped its pursuit.

Felix handed the Berries to the Teddiursa, which began to taste them.

Seeing the Teddiursa enjoying the Berries, the Beedrill also flew over.

Felix offered more Berries to the Beedrill.

"It seems you both like Berries." Felix smiled.

Both the Teddiursa and the Beedrill settled down, enjoying the delicious Berries.

Felix inspected the two Pokémon's information and his eyes widened.

Pokémon: Teddiursa

Type: Normal

Potential: Pseudo-Elite

Ability: Honey Gather

Strength: Intermediate (1.2%)

Pokémon: Beedrill

Type: Bug/Poison

Potential: Gym

Ability: Swarm

Strength: Intermediate (58.9%)

Teddiursa's potential was the highest Felix had ever seen.

He was determined to capture this Teddiursa, no matter the cost.

The Beedrill's potential was also good, so if possible, Felix wanted to capture it too.

After some thought, Felix decided to make sweet and sour ribs to win them over with food.

Using fresh ribs and special seasoning, he made a delicious dish of sweet and sour ribs.

Smelling the food, Teddiursa and Beedrill approached, asking if they could eat it. Felix agreed, and both enjoyed the food, seemingly forgetting their previous conflict.

"Tasty? No more stealing honey, okay?" Felix smiled.

Teddiursa nodded, promising not to steal honey anymore.

Felix asked if they would like to become his Pokémon, promising delicious food every day.

Teddiursa, being a foodie, agreed immediately.

Beedrill thought for a moment before also accepting Felix's proposal.

With that, the ranch gained two new members.

And Felix obtained his first Pseudo-Elite potential Pokémon.

In a few years, he would be a Pseudo-Elite Trainer, respected in any city he visited.

With Pseudo-Elite strength, he could deter most troublemakers.

However, after capturing the two Pokémon, trouble arrived.

Bang!

An angry figure descended from the sky, shattering the ground.

Pokémon: Ursaring

Type: Normal

Potential: Gym

Ability: Guts

Strength: Gym (12.6%)

Seeing these stats, Felix couldn't help but gasp.

A Gym-level Ursaring!

As Felix prepared to leave with Teddiursa and Beedrill, he encountered an enraged Ursaring.

Mistaking Felix for someone who forcibly captured Teddiursa, it swung its claws fiercely, trying to flatten him.

Felix quickly explained, but Ursaring didn't believe him.

In the nick of time, a Poké Ball opened.

"Dad, stop it, I went with Felix willingly."

Teddiursa jumped out of the Poké Ball, explaining to Ursaring.

Ursaring paused, looking at its child in confusion.

Felix took the opportunity to offer some Berries to calm Ursaring's anger.

He assured Ursaring that he genuinely cared for Teddiursa and that Teddiursa followed him voluntarily.
