Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: Returning to School

Teddiursa had been under Felix's care for some time now, and its strength had improved significantly. Currently, it was even stronger than the Pidgeotto.

Felix brought his two Pokémon to the makeshift battle arena. Teddiursa and Pidgeotto stood on the battle stage.

Felix issued a command.

"Go, Teddiursa, use Slash."

Teddiursa attacked first, putting all its strength into the powerful Slash move, aiming to defeat its opponent in one blow.

Pidgeotto swiftly dodged and countered with a Peck attack, its sharp beak striking at Teddiursa's weak spot like a sword.

Teddiursa calmly evaded the attack and launched another strike.

Its strength was as heavy as a boulder, with each blow full of power.

Pidgeotto, on the other hand, used its agility to weave through the air, looking for opportunities to counterattack.

The two skills clashed mid-air, producing crisp sounds that dazzled the eyes.

Both sides engaged in a back-and-forth exchange of attacks and defenses.

Teddiursa's power gradually gained the upper hand, but Pidgeotto didn't give up.

It continually changed its attack strategy, trying to find a flaw in Teddiursa's defenses.

Felix held his breath, focusing entirely on the battle's progress.

He hoped Teddiursa would win, so he could have Pidgeotto.

After a fierce battle, Teddiursa finally found an opening and defeated Pidgeotto with one last hit.

Panting, it looked at its fallen opponent, a hint of exhaustion in its eyes but also pride and determination.

Felix breathed a sigh of relief, knowing Pidgeotto was now his.

Sending out Teddiursa was a risk, but he had faith in his judgment, believing Teddiursa could win, and it had proven him right.

Taking out some potent healing potions, he applied them to both Pokémon, then returned Teddiursa to its Poké Ball. He took out another Poké Ball and tossed it at Pidgeotto.

Beep, beep, beep!

After three beeps, everything quieted down.

Felix picked up the Poké Ball, unable to suppress the smile on his face.

"Great, I've caught Pidgeotto!"

To celebrate, Felix decided to prepare grilled fish for everyone in the evening.

He planned to use delicious food to fully win over Pidgeotto and eliminate any lingering doubts it might have.

He took out fresh fish and began preparing the grilled fish.

He carefully selected the seasonings and grilled the fish with great attention, ensuring every inch of it was perfectly flavored.

Before long, a fragrant grilled fish was presented to Pidgeotto.

The fish was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, with a golden color and an enticing aroma.

Pidgeotto looked at the grilled fish with a hint of anticipation in its eyes.

As Felix signaled, it tasted the grilled fish, each bite filled with satisfaction.

Felix felt a sense of pride; his cooking skills were not to be underestimated.

After eating, Pidgeotto nodded, showing its appreciation for his cooking.

Felix was delighted, knowing that good food was indeed the best way to bond.

Seeing that he had achieved his goal, he called out to his other Pokémon to join the feast.

"Growlithe, Sandslash, and Teddiursa... come and eat."

"Okay, Master."

"Thank you, Master."

"I'm starting now."

The Pokémon eagerly joined the feast, each one eating with great enthusiasm.

Watching his Pokémon enjoy the food so much, Felix felt proud.

Just as he was getting ready for bed, his phone rang.

Seeing it was his homeroom teacher, he answered the call.

Teacher: "Felix, the college entrance exams are next month. You must come back to school."

Felix: "I understand, Teacher. I'll manage everything and not let it affect my studies."

Teacher: "You've been absent for a long time. You need to return as soon as possible."

Felix: "I'll arrange the Pokémon training and return to school soon."

Teacher: "Good, looking forward to your return."

Hanging up, Felix felt a wave of hesitation.

Sitting alone in the woods, the night's silence made his heartbeat clearer.

He knew the college entrance exam was a crucial milestone in his life, but his love for Pokémon and ranch duties made it hard to let go.

He pondered his future, filled with inner conflict.

"What should I choose?" Felix asked himself softly, his voice echoing in the night.

He remembered his childhood dream of becoming a top Pokémon trainer.

But the reality of his situation couldn't be ignored. Standing up, he decided to go back to school.

"No matter what, I must finish my studies first," Felix said to himself, making up his mind.

Standing in the center of the ranch, Felix looked at his Pokémon with deep emotion.

He knew he was about to leave this familiar place to face a new chapter in his life.

Taking a deep breath, he spoke to Cinccino, Sandslash, Teddiursa, and Beedrill: "My friends, I have to leave for a while to complete my studies. While I'm away, please take good care of the ranch and ensure everything goes smoothly."

Cinccino approached, gently touching Felix's hand with its paw: "Don't worry, Master. We'll guard this land and await your return."

Sandslash nodded, its eyes gleaming with determination: "We'll protect this land and let nothing happen to it."

Teddiursa smiled warmly, patting its chest: "We'll work hard to make the ranch even more prosperous."

Beedrill buzzed, seemingly saying: "We'll follow your instructions and won't let you down."

Felix felt reassured watching them.

Even though he was taking his strongest Growlithe, he wasn't worried about the ranch's security with his other Pokémon around.

As he was leaving, Pidgeotto brought a large Pidgey. Felix climbed onto its back, ready to leave the ranch.

He glanced at Pidgey, noting its intermediate strength at 99.9%, knowing it couldn't improve further due to its limited potential.

As Pidgey took off, Felix ascended into the sky, looking down at the scenery below.

He saw his Pokémon on the ranch, becoming smaller until they blended into a sea of green.

Clouds floated beneath him in various shapes, some fluffy like cotton candy, others leisurely like a flock of sheep.

Distant mountains rose and fell like a dragon's spine.

Rivers flowed like ribbons across the land, distinctly dividing it.

Forests were lush and vibrant, teeming with life.

Felix marveled: "This world is beautiful."

Landing on the school's playground, Felix attracted a wave of astonished exclamations.

Looking at the campus, Felix felt a surge of emotions.

He took out two berries from his bag and handed them to Pidgey: "Thank you, this is for you."

Pidgey happily took the berries and flew into the sky.

Watching it disappear, Felix felt a sense of anticipation, knowing he was about to start a new chapter.

On the playground, he unexpectedly met the school beauty, Freya.

Freya smiled and greeted him: "Felix, you're back."

Felix nodded: "Yes, I'm back."

Freya asked curiously: "Where did you go? You disappeared for so long."

Felix hesitated, then replied: "I went to a Pokémon ranch."

Freya's eyes widened in surprise: "A Pokémon ranch? That must have been interesting."

Felix nodded: "Yes, it was full of surprises and adventures."

They chatted about the ranch, studies, Pokémon habits, and future dreams.

Freya listened with curiosity and excitement.

"You really know a lot about Pokémon," Freya praised.

Felix smiled: "Yes, I've loved them since I was a kid."

Their conversation flowed smoothly, as if they were old friends.

After a while, Felix prepared to leave for the classroom.

Freya looked at Growlithe with curiosity and affection.

She reached out to pet it.

But Growlithe stepped back, unwilling to be touched.

Seeing this, Felix quickly explained: "Haha, Growlithe is not used to strangers, so it doesn't want to be touched."

Freya smiled awkwardly but politely: "Yes, that's understandable."

After saying goodbye, Felix headed to his class with Growlithe.

Entering the classroom, his classmates gathered around, wanting to pet Growlithe.

But Growlithe skillfully dodged their hands, leaving them empty-handed.

Felix chuckled, explaining: "Growlithe is a bit shy; it needs time to get used to new people."

Although disappointed, his classmates didn't give up.

They sat around Felix, listening to him share stories from the ranch.
