Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Inheritance Ranch

Sunlight bathed the vast prairie, its golden rays scattering seeds of hope. At the prairie's end, a majestic Pokémon ranch appeared, embodying the harmonious coexistence of nature and humanity.

In this magical land, young Felix, filled with boundless dreams of Pokémon, began his legendary journey.

Determination sparkled in his eyes as if he could already see the glorious chapters he would write with Pokémon.

Felix stepped into the ranch, greeted by the fresh air, seemingly infused with nature's magic.

He looked around and saw green grasslands adorned with colorful flowers, distant mountains like a giant painting, and nearby Pokémon, like jewels in the canvas, shining brightly.

He approached an open field where a group of Pokémon played joyfully. Felix cautiously moved closer, afraid to disturb them.

But the Pokémon weren't afraid. They curiously gathered around, their bright eyes examining him.

Those sparkling eyes almost melted Felix's heart.

However, he didn't interact with them immediately; instead, he used his unique ability.

Pokémon: Wurmple

Potential: Basic

Strength: Basic (23.5%)

Pokémon: Oddish

Potential: Intermediate

Strength: Basic (33.2%)

...

In reality, Felix wasn't from this world. He came from a planet called Earth, transported here by a truck on a sunny morning.

Upon discovering this was the Pokémon world, Felix quickly let go of his grudge against the truck driver, deciding to make it big in the Pokémon world.

In this life, he was the grandson of a ranch owner who had recently passed away. Felix came to take over his late grandfather's position.

As for his parents, they had perished in a travel accident early in life, fitting the typical protagonist's backstory.

Felix's special ability had two parts. The first allowed him to assess a Pokémon's potential and strength, along with additional details if needed.

He looked down at his loyal Growlithe.

Pokémon: Growlithe

Type: Fire

Potential: Gym

Ability: Intimidate

Strength: Intermediate (56.7%)

This was his first partner, a Growlithe with Gym-level potential, an excellent Pokémon.

Compared to earlier, this analysis included type and ability. Good-potential Pokémon merited a detailed examination.

The second part of his ability was straightforward: passive leveling up.

Felix's Pokémon could gain experience and level up without training.

The process followed a specific pattern: Basic: 40 days, Intermediate: 80 days, Advance: 160 days, Ace: 320 days, Gym: 640 days, Pseudo-Elite: 1280 days, Elite: 2560 days, Champion: 5120 days….

This meant that without any effort, Felix's Pokémon could reach Ace in under two years, Gym level in under four, and Pseudo-Elite in under eight.

Of course, the potential needed to allow it.

Naturally, Legendary Pokémon were exceptional. Beyond Champion potential, there were Lesser Legendaries, Higher Legendaries, and Ultimate Legendaries, their true realm.

From this, it's evident that Felix had only been in this world for about six months.

Felix crouched down, holding Growlithe's head.

"Growlithe, this will be where our dreams take flight."

Growlithe wagged its tail.

"Woof woof woof…"

Felix smiled.

"Everything will get better!"

Since taking over his grandfather's ranch, Felix had been busy.

First, he needed a place to live. Walking with Growlithe along a winding path, they reached a three-story villa.

"Not bad, not bad."

Inside, the villa had all the necessary appliances, which was satisfying.

"But next, we need to make money."

Felix had limited funds, only five figures, and needed to earn more to develop.

The ranch currently produced only two things: Mareep wool and Miltank milk.

Both products were in high demand, even the basic-level Miltank milk was always sold out.

Felix's problem wasn't the milk's quality but the limited quantity due to the few Miltank.

He thought for a while but couldn't figure it out, rubbing his hair.

"Things will sort out eventually. One step at a time; I can handle this."

"Woof!"

As Felix was troubled, Growlithe barked.

"Growlithe, what is it?"

"Woof!"

Growlithe signaled him to look ahead.

"Woof woof woof…"

Though unseen, different dog barks were heard.

Looking over, Felix saw six Poochyena approaching, baring their teeth, clearly not friendly.

Felix could guess why. Poochyena saw the villa as their territory and saw Felix as an intruder.

He had taken their land, so they retaliated.

Pokémon: Poochyena * 6

Type: Dark

Potential: Advanced

Ability: Run Away

Strength: Basic (23.4%)

He checked their strength: all basic level, clearly not strong. Felix was confident Growlithe could handle all six.

The advanced potential of the Poochyena was decent, considering most had basic or intermediate potential.

Felix was intrigued.

Not for main partners, but as guards, they would do well.

With his ability, in less than a year, he could have six advanced-level Poochyena, which was appealing.

He decided quickly.

"Go, Growlithe, show your strength."

In the open field, a fierce battle began.

Growlithe, the brave warrior clad in fiery armor, faced six fierce Poochyena.

Growlithe moved swiftly, eyes fixed on the enemy. Determination filled its heart, knowing this battle was crucial.

This was its first fight, and it had to win beautifully to please its master.

The Poochyena snarled, showing sharp fangs, ready to attack.

Their wild eyes saw Growlithe as prey.

The battle began with Growlithe charging at the nearest Poochyena, breathing a stream of hot fire.

The Poochyena, startled, tried to dodge but was burned, yelping in pain.

The other Poochyena quickly surrounded Growlithe, coordinating their attack.

Growlithe, despite its courage, found the six-on-one fight challenging.

However, it didn't give up. Dodging attacks, it looked for a chance to counter.

Suddenly, it turned and bit a Poochyena's throat.

The Poochyena struggled but couldn't escape. With a twist, Growlithe knocked it out.

The Poochyena's cry echoed in the wild, scaring the others.

Growlithe seized the moment, breathing fire again, defeating another Poochyena.

The remaining Poochyena, frightened, fled in all directions.
