"Cut off one head, two more shall take its place. Hail HYDRA!"
Unanimous chants sounded from behind a sturdy metal door, muffling the sounds.
Kazuki "Kaz" Meyer, who had been waiting outside the door for a while, heard the chant and knew that the meeting was about to end.
There was a regular meeting every morning and evening in this secret base of HYDRA. With Kaz' status, he could, of course, participate, but he had more important tasks to do every night, so he only needed to attend the regular morning meeting.
Kaz waited patiently at the door, standing up straight. After a while, the door of the meeting room creaked open, and a coquettish red-headed woman walked out of the room. Her blood-red lips, flowing red hair, and bright blue eyes seemed to exude a fatal temptation.
Kaz quickly opened his eyes, not wanting to appear as his usually sly self in front of this woman. Then he quickly started acting:
A strong desire appeared in Kaz' eyes, and at the same time, he skillfully shrank his head, raised his hands flat, and shouted loudly:
"Hail HYDRA!"
But the woman didn't even look at Kaz and walked straight along the corridor. A man followed closely from the room, his hair hanging down to his neck, and one arm reflecting the luster of metal under the corridor lamp.
Kaz had a jealous look in his eyes at the right time.
The man didn't even look at Kaz and disappeared into the corner of the corridor behind the coquettish woman.
Kaz put down his arms, his eyes drooped, reverting to their near-closed state, and his smile returned to his face, making him appear to be a slit-eyed snake.
The brawny guy who had just passed was Bucky Barnes, Captain America's closest teammate in World War II, who was later transformed into the Winter Soldier by HYDRA, who implanted a chip into his brain to control his mind, and was now HYDRA's gold fighter.
Being beaten to death by Bucky's iron fist is still the best outcome. If one falls into the hands of the red-haired woman, then life would become worse than death.
Sinthea "Sin" Schmidt, daughter of the Red Skull, is now the head of HYDRA. 'Treat your enemies ruthlessly and treat your own people ruthlessly'—that was what Kaz believed her internal mantra to be.
So since he transmigrated, Kaz has been trying to figure out a way to get out of this Tiger's Den, so as not to lose his life accidentally, but unfortunately, he has not found a suitable chance to escape.
A sound of electronics and metal scraping came from behind Kaz.
Kaz turned his head and saw a robot with only four limbs, no head, and a height of about 1.5 meters.
There was an electronic display on the chest of the robot, showing an old man wearing glasses—Dr. Zola, who had uploaded his consciousness to an android.
"She's not something you can grasp. Don't have these illusions, kid. Are the instruments all adjusted?"
"Keke... Yes, it is all complete, sir."
Dr. Zola hummed and then moved forward. Kaz quickly followed.
Kaz, male, a transmigrator, was now within the Marvel Universe.
Kazuki Meyer, a half-Chinese male, had parents who were agents of HYDRA, who had died during a mission. The original owner, Kazuki, was a student and assistant of Dr. Zola at the base.
For some unknown reason, Kazuki on Earth woke up as Kazuki in the Marvel Universe after a sleep, obtaining all of his memories.
The transfer of souls wiped out the brainwashing HYDRA had conducted on all of its agents. Therefore, he was able to disguise himself well and survive in the HYDRA base while not being loyal to the organization.
When he first came across, Kaz was hesitant, scared, and extremely homesick, missing his family. But half a year later, Kaz could only hold his thoughts deep in his heart and began to think about how to survive well in this world.
'I can't stay here for long.' Not only because Kaz can't stand the antics of the organization, but also because the people here are familiar with the original owner, Kaz, and one slip-up could be his death.
For example, the original owner, Kaz, was infatuated with Sinthea, so every time Kaz met Sinthea, he had to act as if he was still in love with the batshit insane woman.

After a while, Kaz followed Dr. Zola to the laboratory.
After briefly checking a few meters, Dr. Zola said:
"It's business as usual. Use the emergency wake-up function to wake me up in an emergency."
Dr. Zola explained to Kaz, and then he lay down on a special mechanical stand.
Dr. Zola had uploaded his consciousness to the computer, and combined with the network system of the entire base, his computing speed could top the most powerful government supercomputers.
But his daily calculations were too large, which made his consciousness unbearable, so Dr. Zola sleeps for 6 hours on special equipment every day.
This is not only to restore energy, but Dr. Zola can also use the equipment to calibrate his main consciousness throughout countless backup bodies around the world.
As a student and assistant of Dr. Zola, Kaz needed to monitor the sleeping device every night, so he did not need to attend the regular meeting at night.
"Keke, sir, I've been doing this process for eight years, and I'm very familiar with it. I can complete it with my eyes closed, so you can sleep at ease," Kaz said, smiling.
"You better keep your eyes open, boy. And stop with that manner of speech. You must have picked it up from your creep of a father."
It's a pity that Dr. Zola doesn't understand humor, and he reminded Kaz bluntly again and again, of course, reprimanding him for his creepy talking. For as long as Kaz had been here, he had talked like that, picking it up from the previous Kaz. Paired with his slit-like, snake eyes and constantly smiling face, many could say he looked like a backstabbing snake.
[A/N: Think Gin Ichimaru of Bleach, that's what Kazuki looks like.]
Kaz repeatedly agreed and then pulled down a handle to send Dr. Zola into sleep land.
But today Kaz had a more important target, having examined and nearly memorized the internal structure of a very powerful piece of technology.
Suppressing the excitement in his heart, Kaz walked quickly to the north side of the base.
Kaz pushed open a door on the north side of the base; the room was empty. This was another laboratory, but it was much smaller than Dr. Zola's exclusive laboratory.
However, although the room was small and cramped, it had all the equipment Kaz could need, making him content with it.
Kaz walked to the operating table and skillfully made preparations. After a while, heavy footsteps sounded from the door, and then Bucky Barnes, the Winter Soldier, pushed in.
Bucky's face was serious and expressionless, and if it weren't for the flush on his face, Bucky should look as cold as in the movie. He had clearly just been used and abused by Sinthea.
Kaz dreaded having to meet the crazy woman anytime soon, having just technically stolen her toy.
"Sit down."
Kaz pointed to the chair next to him. Bucky no longer ignored him this time and sat down obediently.
Kaz picked up the tools at hand and began to disassemble Bucky's robotic arm.
Inside the base, Bucky's machinery was maintained on a weekly basis. At the beginning, the maintenance work was carried out by Dr. Zola himself, but later Dr. Zola took on more and more projects, and this work was handed over to his assistant, Kaz.
When Kaz crossed over, the original owner, Kaz, had already helped Bucky maintain the robotic arm for more than a year. Kaz had no idea what he was doing at the time and almost blew his cover, but he was lucky enough that the arm did not need any adjustments at the time, giving him a week to learn everything he could to stay undercover as Kaz.
After a grueling session of tinkering with the mechanics of the arm, the mechanical arm was removed.
"How do you feel?"
Kaz placed the robotic arm on the mechanical table with both hands and asked Bucky casually.
"No unusual feelings."
Bucky replied blandly.
Then Kaz ignored him and concentrated on operating the mechanical arm on the mechanical table.
He then quickly and skillfully disassembled the entire arm, turning it back into its core parts for examination, his small slit-like eyes darting and absorbing as much information on the arm as they could.
Kaz had long figured he had some sort of power, having learned a full 10 years' worth of engineering, robotics, and computer science in just a year of being in the HYDRA base.
Now, he was extremely close to imprinting the design of Bucky's arm into his memory.
Just what he needed to finally start his escape from the base.
A sly smile appeared on his face as he pondered what was next.
Suddenly, after putting the arm back together, he spun on his heel to face Bucky, telling him to turn around so he could place the arm back.
Then, he pulled a small chip from inside a drawer, plugging it into the arm via a slot he had secretly installed the previous week.
"Keke, now... starts my plan."
