"Dear, what do you think of Prince Edward?" The Countess questioned at the dinner table, as Lady Victoria choked a little from her mother's words.

"What about the Prince?" The Earl sharply asked. The previous conversation he had with his wife lingering in his mind. He did not want his daughter to feel overwhelmed of a marriage partner, but he knew his wife better than any other man knew his partner!

"Dear, is he not the perfect match for our girl? He has the looks, earns a wealthy amount each year, and additionally cherishes a woman's embroidery expectations," the Countess acknowledged.

"Does he like a woman who reads?" Amelia called out, making the Countess scowl a bit towards Victoria's younger sister.

"A woman's wit does not count on books, dear!" she whispered to the younger daughter.

"He is a boring prince!" Amelia called out, catching the attention of the Earl and forcing a chuckle from the silent Beafort, Christian, and Andrew…
