Chapter 27 - 27

Knight's right hand grazed longer on his soft, black-materialed trousers. His head observed the ceiling of the small, white-painted room with one lamp in the corner and a medium-sized, Rome-styled window. The room was separated with a large material, but his head cared not much of that.

His brother Edward paced through the room, the only sound heard since his entry after his Lancaster night shift.

"Do you care least for mother, bloody brother?" Edward's words still echoed in his mind once he entered, in the morning. He had, like a leopard, pounced on the sleeves of his shirt, ready to punch him or certainly kill him.

"She certainly needs daily check-ups," the physician called out, shifting Knight's thoughts and hearing the pacing of Edward toward the physician, who was directing the words to Knight.

"I am the older!" Prince Edward stated, as Lord Hordy, who was silently standing and observing the two brothers, made a significant eye contact with Knight.
