Aleks looked at the blue window with concern, originally he thought he was just playing around and dreaming with a fixed output, but now he saw that the window had to adjust to the changes in his surroundings.

"What does it mean to be blessed by the world?" He thought inwardly.

Aleks was currently being led by the dean who gave Aleks a huge welcome and took him inside to his office.

The office of the dean was large, it was circular, but it seemed to reach the sky.

In the middle was a desk and chair, behind the desk was a fireplace, but overhead was large bookcases.

The bookcases punctured the sky with such great height, that clouds would often pass through unimpeded.

Aleks looked at the dean after looking around: "Hmm."

He said as the dean was looking at him for a response.

It turned out that the dean was asking him some questions, but Aleks was too raptured in the magnificence of his surroundings.

The dean didn't pay him any mind, actually his answer of being no less than one word gave the dean the feeling that he was in front of an immortal who has been banished from the heavens.

He looked at Aleks and began to perspire.

"Good sir, I am a rank 6 circle wizard here. Although we do not know of your rank, to be blessed by the world means that you will soon overtake me in power and lead us to the next great age!" The dean said as he wiped sweat off his forehead.

He had lived a long life, it was full of ups and downs, small national battles, and many years secluded to engage in the scholarly way.

Today he looked at Aleks as if everything was meant to support and nurture this magnificent man blessed by the world in front of him.

He felt that today was the mark of history!

"Good sir, do you know what it means to be blessed by the world?"

Aleks redirected his gaze from the clouds entering and exiting the ceiling to the dean: "No." he said sternly.

"Good sir, to be blessed by the world means that you carry the fate of all living beings. If something were to happen to you then it would mean that the entirety of the human race would most likely be destroyed!" The dean said as the last few words came out of his mouth in a high pitch.

He didn't want to anticipate the end of humanity, what was the reason he studied in caves, and abandoned his four wives?

It was to pursue the dreams of magic!

Aleks didn't get any of this from the perspiring figure in front of him, but when he heard those words, he gathered the idea that this poor man probably is only treating him because of his strong beliefs.

"I was just a farmer not too long ago. Shortly after that I was hunting foxes with rocks I found on the ground."

"Now, I have this old geezer at my disposal? Just because of this blessed by the world?"

*Ding!

A blue window emerged and surprised Aleks.

[Processing completed!

User has obtained the title: Blessed In More Ways Than One

Details: The user will receive great support from the living beings who occupy this world.

The user will be able to ****.

Processing Quest Objectives!]

Aleks nodded, it was his first title. He already saw how it impacted the people in front of him. It was no less to say that this title had a heavy weight attached to it.

But what about the part that was obviously censored?

Aleks didn't mind it, internally he thought that what would be available to him would come, and what was not meant for him would not.

This was the reason he didn't mind not remembering the details of the other instructors.

For all he knew they might just be part of the crowd and have no reason to interact with him and his objective.

Whatever the objective that the system decided.

Aleks had officially let his guard down and completely went with the flow, he felt like he was inside a theater play and enjoyed the reactions of the audience.

The dean was looking at Aleks waiting for a response: "Uhm good sir?"

"About my request, what do you think?"

Aleks had no idea what he was talking about, but wanted to keep the cold and mysterious figure alive so he only gave a few words to keep this old man happy: "Yes, it is good."

It was a simple response and can be used for about 99% of questions.

Would you like extra sauce with that?

Yes it is good.

Did you know Aunt Mary had twins?

Yes it is good.

Could you believe my dad caught lung cancer?

Yes it is good.

Aleks shook his head as he thought of that last question: "99% does not mean all of them." He nodded in satisfaction.

The dean smiled as he saw Aleks nod in agreement: "Well then good sir, I will be instructing you henceforth, please forgo the formalities and call me Uncle Stanley."

"We are both children to this world and are given the opportunity to give back to humanity with our powers."

Aleks heard this and thought: "Who the hell wants to call you uncle? When did I agree with this fool?"

Aleks sighed and nodded to his new Uncle Stanley.

Internally he rolled his eyes and was awaiting his next quest from the system.

*Ding!

The blue window disappeared and Aleks had his eyes bulging: "What do you mean I will suffer for 10 days and die on the 11th? Aren't you taking this system too far?"

*Ding!

[System has discovered discontent coming from the user.

Would you like to see the current capabilities of the system to appease the user?]

Aleks smiled but didn't answer, he was currently talking to the dean so he couldn't take his time to see what the system had in store for him.

It was at this time he focused back onto the old uncle.

Uncle Stanley smiled and waved his sleeve: "After you good nephew."

A dark and middle-sized portal appeared from underneath his waving arms.

Aleks rolled his eyes internally and walked through it.

Uncle Stanley follows right behind.

Aleks entered a large space, it was white and blinding, but it was not empty.

There was an aisle of bookcases that spread to the horizon.

Uncle Stanley smiled: "This is the available books within the academy, at the end of the bookshelves there would be a large altar."

"As I said to my good nephew that it is here where you will be given the right book to unleash your power."

The old man looked happy. He knew there was another altar within the school but that was for commoners, at least people not as blessed like Aleks.

He didn't want to have Aleks mixed in with the politics of the nobles that are within the school.

He thought Aleks was supposed to stand above and lead with great might and knowledge, so taking him here to undergo this ritual with only himself was the best choice.

Aleks didn't look back at the old man, instead he was still focused on the aisle of books.

"How can there be so many books? What did I agree to?"

Aleks was swallowing his saliva as he took his first steps into the mountainous bookshelves that caused his figure to disappear.

The old man was just right behind him, walking without taking much into consideration.

He was sweating, but that wasn't because of the meager amount of exercise, he was sweating and darting his eyes from the horizon and Aleks.

"I wonder what this boy would be given. The fate of the world relies on him. If he is given a good omen then even better, if he is given a bad omen then I can only eliminate him here and then."

It turned out that the old man actually cared more about the choices of fate and if it boded well then good, but if it didn't, then he had to take action.

This was the real reason he decided to take Aleks here.

When Aleks agreed to do this in private he didn't know that he was digging his own grave.

He was too focused on what the system would have in store.

At this point, Aleks looked at the horizon and saw how far he had to travel and internally said: "System show me all your capabilities."
