Chapter 1 - Rakshasa

Chapter 1

"Give up, Rakshasa. It's over." A man adorned in armor said to another man in armor. The armor of the first man was fiery red like flames, his head was also covered in an armor headset and only his eyes were visible through that armor.

"Give up? There is no way." The second man was adorned in pitch-black armor that made it difficult to spot this man in darkness or shadow. The man seemed to be on his last leg as he was breathing heavily. He was also heavily injured underneath the armor. The armor itself was broken in many other places.

"Look around you, even though you are a menace, you cannot escape this many people." A bald man in an orange and red outfit said. There was a Rosary, a Buddhist rosary around his neck that was heavier than twenty people yet it remained on his neck as if it weighed nothing.

"You should be proud. This wouldn't have been possible without you." A woman in a veil, her hair white as snow, her skin pale like a corpse said. She emitted coldness from her very being and the ground under her feet was slightly frozen as well.

Rakshasa, the man in the black armor simply said, "You're right, master of the Yin palace. I would say this is a first in history. The Yin palace, the scorching clan, ten clans, and five sects, the righteous faction, the evil faction, the empire, and last but not least, the demonic faction, which didn't move even during the good and evil war, is here to catch me. All the big shots, just for the little old me. Is it your other way of saying that I am stronger than you? All of you?"

No one replied. It was the truth. They all had lost their predecessors, many of them, to this man. Even now, not one of them was confident in facing this man one-on-one.

They do, and they all die. That was as simple as one plus one. So they had no choice but to band up together. Kill this man together, a first in history where every power of the Murim, martial artists or not, everyone came together for this man.

"Well, I'm flattered. You will be known as cowards later on though." Rakshasa said as he brandished his sword. His injuries were too much. He was going to die. Of course, if he wanted, he could still run away from there, but he didn't want to. He wanted to die, finally, after thousands of years, he wanted to die.

"You know, all of you are going to turn on each other after you kill me, right?" Rakshasa asked. Although he was prepared to die, he wasn't going to just go so easily. He was going to make them all fight each other next, plunge the entire world of Murim into chaos never seen before.

A world war, but in Murim.

"Just as I die, you will all turn on each other. The weaker ones would be the first to go." He pointed at a few individuals who faltered, "Then you," He pointed at the woman, "They're going to kill you, enjoy your dead body, and then it would be your sect members, the girls of your sect's turn."

The white-haired woman also looked at the men. She was, after all, the lone woman in that place. And she very well knew that her beauty was lusted after so she would be their next target.

"Don't listen to him, he is trying cowardly methods to live." A man with spiky hair with a spear in his hand said.

"Am I though? Have you forgotten how last year your son abducted a woman of yin and performed vile acts on her?" Rakshasa revealed a piece of information that no one was supposed to know.

"He's lying!" The man with the spear shouted but it didn't work. Rakshasa smiled and turned to the bald man with Rosary, a monk, and asked, "Am I?"

The old man didn't say anything in reply. That was all the answer the woman needed. "Spear saint is that true!?" The white-haired woman, the master of the Yin palace shouted.

"We will worry about this later, Yin palace leader. For now, focus on the bigger goal." A man with a sword tried to calm her down when her energy began to blare but it was useless. The woman was too angry.

"Bigger goal?! Is the life of a woman who had been abducted and humiliated not important?!!!" Instead of calming the woman, the words of the man with the sword only made her angrier as her energy reached new heights.

"Hahahahaha!!!!" A burst of smooth laughter spread throughout the valley, resounding with the help of the mountains on both sides, relaying someone's amusement.

They all stopped bickering and turned to Rakshasa who was still laughing. He laughed, laughed and laughed. The sound of laughter only seized after five minutes and when everyone in the valley was looking at him, he spoke, "I underestimated all of you. When your dirty deeds get out, not a week, but a day is enough. You will all kill each other even before my corpse turns cold."

The amusement in Rakshasa's voice was hidden from no one. Rakshasa once again looked at everyone and said, "But I vowed to kill all of you. So you will all die by my hands. No one else's."

Rakshasa's words didn't make any sense. However, a bad premonition fell on everyone present.

"Don't jest. There is nothing you can do." A man in a white gown said, covered from shoulder to feet in a white outfit, that looked more like a piece of cloth just wrapped around him.

"Did I jest when I killed your ancestors? When they came to me while I just lived quietly, I told them to leave. But they wouldn't. I warned them, repeatedly. So many times that the children around me turned old and died but they didn't listen. They thought I was jesting too, but did they make it out of that village? No, they didn't."

"So believe me when I say that I vowed to kill all of you when you eradicated the village, I vowed that each and every one of you will burn. Burn in the fires of hell and I will burn along with you. Only I will have much more fun looking at you all in pain." Rakshasa stopped speaking and turned his attention to the panel in his vision.

The panel read:

Rakshasa turned his attention back to everyone in the valley and simply said, "See you all in hell. I will get it warmed up for you fuckers."

Then, without wasting another second, he loudly exclaimed, "BOOM!!!!!!!!!"

Fwooh!!!

A shockwave erupted from Rakshasa and turned into a fire that engulfed everyone in the vicinity. There wasn't enough time for the people in the vicinity to scream, let alone react when they were engulfed by an explosion that was hotter than ten nuclear bombardments and covered an area of almost a giant city.

Huah!

Haa… Haaa… Haaa…

I opened my eyes to find myself lying on a white hard floor. It wasn't just the floor but the entire space that was white.

I stood up and felt constrained in my crotch. When I stared down, I was surprised to see the tight jeans I used to wear. My shirt was also the same. It was the same outfit I had worn when I came to this world.

Wearing the loose-fitted clothes of Murim made me uncomfortable in these clothes though. I rubbed my jeans from my crotch because that's where it felt uncomfortable the most.

"Bit too tight for you?" I heard an amused voice from behind me. An unfamiliar voice but familiar to me more than anything in the world. I knew this voice because this person was the one to welcome me into this world or more like, throw me into this world.

I turned to look at him and he looked back at me with those deep dark eyes. Dark hair, dark eyes, pale skin, and a white three-piece outfit. Someone like to dress up like a certain someone.

"I would appreciate it if you could change them. You owe me that much after the shit you put me through." I said, my voice not pleasant in the least.

*******

The beginning of the journey.

Let's see who follows.
