Chapter 12
"so are you going to just keep standing there or are you gonna do something?" Nightstalker asked. (Suddenly realizes and sensed something coming underground)
"oh! I guess you weren't just standing like a statue for nothing, you were actually doing something."
The Nightstalker jumps up just at the right moment and coming out of the ground were rocks that shot out at the Nightstalker. Landing back down on the ground, the Nightstalker stood looking at Arthur while smiling.
"Is this all you got? (Smirks) what did I really expect from a kid?" The Nightstalker asked.
"you're right. That wasn't an attack, I was just testing the waters. Did you think I was just standing there after that first attack listening to you spew nonsense? (Smiles) you should learn to read your surroundings." Arthur replied.
The Nightstalker Raises an eyebrow in confusion. Huh? (Looks around and sees a lot of boulders surrounding him from all sides.)
"When did he do that? I thought rocks were meant to be noisy an d heavy, so how did he surround me with boulders without making noise? I hate to say this but this kid is quite talented like the rest." The Nightstalker thought still not feeling any sense of danger.
"Now let's see how strong you are. (Closes his hand and all the boulders closed in on the Nightstalker crushing him) (in thought) am not sure that will be enough to defeat him but it should be able to hold him for a wh... (Arthur trails off) How's he able to do that? Now I know why the vampire leaders are afraid of him."
Smashing his way out of the boulders was the Nightstalker without a scratch on him.
"Is that really all you got? Oh well, I have allowed you to attack first, now it's my turn." The Nightstalker asked still smiling.
The Nightstalker zipped so fast at Arthur that he couldn't keep up and delivered a strong hit on Arthur sending him flying thirty metres across the wasteland.
"Huh!!! What just happened? I made sure to reduce my strength by seventy percent so how did he go flying back like that? Is he that weak? Hahahaha 😂 is this the one that was meant to go against me? Someone that couldn't even take a punch from me with thirty percent of my strength. What a waste." The Nightstalker thought in confusion.
Suddenly the Nightstalker was struck with something so hard that he got pushed till the extent he bounced on the rocky ground a few times before he came to a stop.
"what the heck! What was that? I can't see anything because of the dust." The Nightstalker asked while looking around.
Finally the dust settled down and the Nightstalker was finally able to see what or who struck him.
"You... How are you able to stand just fine after that? Not to talk of you striking me so hard that I moved from my position." The Nightstalker asked while looking surprised and confused.
Standing in the spot were the Nightstalker was, was Arthur, with his hands covered in rocks making his hands look twice the normal size. But Arthur wasn't unscathed after the hit he received from the Nightstalker. He was bleeding on his forehead, his lips was also busted drawing blood.
" It's good to know that you weren't defeated by that single punch. Because I wanted to toy with you some more before I break you. Now you gonna pay for hitting meee." The Nightstalker said.
The Nightstalker charges forward with half his normal speed. While he was running towards Arthur, Arthur kept throwing boulders after boulders at the Nightstalker but the Nightstalker kept dodging the boulders while still charging right at Arthur.
"I can't keep on throwing boulders at him, I need to do something else." Arthur thought.
"But before Arthur could do anything, he was struck again, but this time he stood his ground." TBC...
