CHAPTER 1
***
"Whoa bro, it's so big!?"
" No sis don't touch it!."
In an average-sized room, lit up by the bright afternoon sun's rays shining in through the window, a girl had her eyes fixed on a certain item, one which she desperately wanted her hands on.
The item in particular had been on her mind from the moment she first laid eyes on it. To her, its size radiated with an attraction that had a far greater force on her than gravity.
After a while of consideration and timing, she leaped towards it but only for her brother to grab her hand and quickly push away the item just in time before her hands could reach it.
" What did I tell you, Nora? It's a draft okay, you can't read it." He said, staring into her eyes.
He let go of her after saying that, but only for her to fall onto his lap in her bid to grab onto the desired object of hers which he had once again.
That was when the door to the room slightly opened up and his elder slowly slid her head through the door and peeped at the both of them, a clear expression of shock and confusion on her face.
The dialogue between the two siblings had been a rather intriguing one and she was curious as much as she was shocked at what was happening in there.
She was the eldest sibling and thought it wise to stop things before they would escalate, but it hadn't turned out to be what she was expecting.
Her entrance instantly caught their attention and she was left staring awkwardly at them after seeing what was actually going on between them.
" Sorry, I must have walked into the wrong room." She apologized, quickly closing the door as she walked away.
That was when his sister took the book from his hand and quickly ran out of the room. He tried to go after her but felt too tired to even stand up from the chair.
A draft of a novel he had been working on for a month was what she had with her and all he could do as he watched her run out of the room was sigh in defeat.

It had now been two weeks and he had decided to go and visit one of his friends for a Christmas party he would be holding.
Normally he wouldn't accept such offers but it was a great way for him to unwind and relief himself of all the stress that had been building up on him ever since he began making drafts for his newest story.
He had never published any of them anyway, but the anticipation building up inside him each time he thought of how good his newest idea was, left him brimming with joy.
His newest book was finally on the verge of completion, and he couldn't wait to see it be completed and compete with other books in the market.
******
It wasn't long before the Christmas party began and very fun at the start with the group of classmates until everything took a whole other turn. The group of teenagers had decided to take the party up a notch.
" A fun game of truth or dare, now who's with me!?" One of the boys asked, screaming at the top of his lungs like no one couldn't already hear him.
They were teenagers who had seen past their sweet sixteens and were looking forward to adulthood; the very reason for their stupid actions at that moment.
Knowing them as his classmates, truth or dare was the last thing they were supposed to be playing especially at a time and place like this.
But he was inevitably forced into it.
Everyone had already chosen either truth or dare and he had gone with the latter with the belief that it was the safest option.
" My turn. Evelyn, I dare you to finish a whole bottle of vodka."
" Vodka?" He thought in confusion as he quickly turned towards the girl who had dared the other.
To his greatest surprise, Evelyn didn't waste a moment of hesitation as she quickly picked up the bottle of alcohol and began gulping it down in one go.
He couldn't believe what he was seeing at that moment; it felt like the foundation he had built his world on had come crumbling.
Not once did he believe that his friends of all people would indulge themselves in such acts, ones which he found quite immoral.
But he was already in the mess and couldn't get out until it was all over.
What happened next after that was all a huge ride for him and the only thing he could remember as he opened his eyes three hours later was Evelyn pressing her lips against his.
It felt like his hands had been bound at that moment and he didn't for once try to stop as she slowly stuck her tongue into his mouth and began moving it about uncontrollably, her mouth oozing the terrible odor of alcohol.
He wasn't the only one who had an embarrassing moment as everyone's face was deeply flushed two hours into the Christmas party. But Evelyn's case was different – she was drunk.
He awoke from his slumber shirtless after the party had come to an inevitable end to see Evelyn lying next to him, her hand gripped firmly onto his removed shirt while her dress was rolled up to her waist.
He tried as much as possible to keep his eyes away from the scene before him as he slowly slipped away his shirt and left the house immediately.
It was already late in the night and he should have been long home. It had become a norm for him to come home before six o'clock since it was an unwritten held in his family and he knew what awaited him at him.
But his head was still aching from the little alcohol he had taken and it seemed to be affecting all his other senses as well.
His gaze was blurred and his throbbing head only made it even harder to see. In that moment he was nothing but a shadow of his former self, almost falling to the ground at each moment due to the dizziness which he felt.
Summoning the strength to move forward, he looked towards both sides of the road and finally decided to cross.
That was when the loud horn of a car came from his right, prompting him to turn his gaze toward the source of the sound as he quickly made his way toward the other side of the road.
The driver had moved way too fast and somehow managed to succeed in not running over the young lad, but that was when things escalated.
Another car had been coming from the left as well and in their bid to avoid the boy, they both ended up in the same lane and bumped straight into each other.
The loud noise caught his attention and he quickly turned around, but only to see a car flying straight towards him.
He stood there still at that moment, staring hopelessly as his life flashed before his eyes. The car hit him, squashing his head on the tarred floor.
*****
In that moment he found himself drifting away in darkness.
There wasn't any resistance from him as he gave up the ghost and found himself turned into a mere existing consciousness.
Suddenly, it felt like he could feel once again, constantly struggling to get out of the tight space he was in.
He was pushed and he didn't know where to, nor could he see what was the cause.
It wasn't long before he was finally able to see the light of day once again and could hear the chattering of women in the room.
His eyes felt tired and the same could be said for his entire body but he didn't know what was going on.
" What the heck, did I reincarnate?" He thought, looking up at the middle-aged woman who held him in her arms.
After he was wrapped in some clothes, he was slowly handed over to another person. He could hear the pants of the lady although she was trying to hold them back.
Her eyes stared deeply into his, so much so that it felt like she could see his soul.
He could do nothing but watch as the lady's eyes constantly darted around his body.
She was scanning every inch of his body and the moment she stopped, her eyes were slightly teared up and her expression dropped.
Her look of disappointment couldn't be mistaken.
