SUMMARY
Suzuki Yukito is a young boy around 18 years old with a mysterious past as he was left alone while still an infant and there will be no known real parents, so he ends up in an adoptive family, which is the Suzuki family. He was raised in Massachusetts and had a turbulent relationship with his father who was bitter about the loss of their mother when he was 10 years old. He has been interested in writing and, through his stories, has created a different world, which in turn has motivated him to come up with fiction writing of his own. Yukito, after experiencing the cold and harshness of his father's action to make him leave at 18, is now haunted by the sad memories of his childhood and the bizarre visions of Eldritch that are somehow connected to his creative part. Internal struggles, his recognizing and accepting of his traumas, and the discovery of his abilities to shape reality through his writings are the most remarked parts of his journey.
BACKSTORY
Yukito was a child found in a basket over an orphanage's door in Massachusetts. Nobody could figure out where he came from. When he was five years old, the Suzuki family, who made him feel at home, adopted him. His dad, Takeshi, was a doctor who mainly worked at the hospital, and his mom, Izumi, was a librarian, who who spent most of her time reading to him every day. Yukito spent his upsurging hours in the world of fantasy and literature, creating stories and whatever came into his head over a book he named "Aletheia".When Yukito was just 10, his mother died after a car accident causing a massive domino effect on his life and over his family's stability. This event also became the cause of their estrangement as Yukito's father chose to remain distantly cold. As Yukito turned 18, his father decided to kick him out of the house, leaving Yukito to live independently. This experience forced Yukito to confront his traumas while also dealing with strange visions tied to his writing, leading him to a path of self-discovery and inner peace.
PERSONALITY
Yukito is a rather introspective character, brilliant in his own way, and scarred into being the person he has become through early childhood trauma. Despite the emotional abandonment from his father, he has learned to be independent; however, he often feels lonely. Introverted, he spends much of his time reading, writing, and creating alternate realities through his stories. His emotional setbacks have made him a little cold, yet he is not heartless understands the pang of a loss well enough, and seeks acceptance whenever it constantly eludes him. His ability to create worlds within words is both a gift and a curse that more often than not confronts him with the more sinister elements of his psyche. Yukito is also resilient, and able to face adversity, such as when he was thrown out of his home and had to make his way into the world. Over time, he learns to accept his trauma and find peace within himself, no longer fearing the dark visions that haunt him.
