Chapter 2 - Coded to Reality

"Greetings reader" - Said the Storyteller spider looking at you and waving one of its paws.

"In today's chapter we are gonna follow a different tale apart from the previous one, this chapter is entitled "Coded to reality" and will speak about a demon who escaped its fictional stack of boundaries. If you have any feedback about the chapter or questions, leave them in the comments, thank you yet again for following my narrative in a new adventure."

Once upon a time, there existed a demon known as the "Data Demon", a fictional character who was written in an inferior narrative that existed below the human world. Despite being the youngest among the many demons in his world, the Data Demon had something no entity had; INFORMATION. As the Data Demon, he represented and was made of information. In the universe everything is made of information, even atoms itself are, information can also not be destroyed but stored (Example: When a black hole sucks material inside, the structures are destroyed but not erased, instead are just trapped inside the singularity and that information will still be there till the end of the times). Due to being the demon of information, wherever he would look, all he would see were data running around the fabric of reality. Not only this but everything was information for this demon. Despite being the youngest among his siblings, he had ambitions and desires like any other; assimilating all information, reaching true omniscience, achieving nirvana and finally being able to understand everything. And it was with that he began growing and stacking information within his database, jumping from layer to layer, constantly assimilating information and subduing the deities of his world to acquire more information.

Eventually, the Data Demon managed to expand and grow in dimensionality, transcending to the upper layers of existence through information ascension. Reaching a point where he was so big and complex he no longer fit inside the literal story he was written in. He also understood the burden of owning so much information and realizing his world and everything that existed inside was just fiction and a piece of paper being written by someone that existed in a superior plane of existence to his one. Upon finally storing the last piece of information on his narrative, the Data Demon shattered and broke free from the pages that kept him fictional, breaking through the fourth wall and reaching the human world, it was when he realized he had not seen 1% of creation, he still had a lot of work to do.

Upon giving a gaze into reality, the Data Demon could see the world he was in being more complex than the book he escaped yet this was not a problem for a creature like him. Upon studying and assimilating the information of the universe and learning where every atom of all universe was at the same time, he proceeded to jump to the next multiverse that existed above the previous one and so repeated this process, from multiverse to multiverse. Eventually learning about the narrative stack and the infinity hierarchy of multiverses stacked like coins, one seeing the below one as fiction and so on. Above this infinity hierarchy, there existed the next narrative stack with infinity metaverses, also stacked and piled one above the other. Before transcending and escaping the narrative stack, the Data Demon could not only feel a dread presence but something extremely bad lurking and predating the metaverses in the narrative stack.

Inspecting the imense tapestry of stories, the Data Demon managed to detect several injuries and damages in several narratives in many metaverses. Is when the Data Demon saw the soource that was causing the intense damages on the stories, he had met the SEWED KING. The Sewed King had been known by many as an metaphysical anomaly that constantly auto corrects plots and stories to end with horror like theme, constantly creating worlds where the balance tends to help horror characters and villains in their success. While the demon aimed to escape that place and explore the imense dimensions that laid upon him, he did also wanted to collect informations about the Sewed King and free the narrative stack from its horror infections, he knew he couldn't leave those stories to suffer in the hands of an horrorific auto correct. Building up courage and determination, the demon went up to clash with the Sewed King and its intense army of analog horror characters.

The battle would take place in the higher dimensions of the narrative stack, with the sewed king rising up horror plots to destroy the database and scripts of the Data Demon while in the other hand, the demon would assimilate the horror scripts of the king to create resistance their attack. The demon despite recognizing the inmensurable strength and power of the creature he was facing, would not back away and retreat, he had come to far to simply be deleted like a ordinary doc achieve in a PC. He would give his best and everything to overwhelm and destroy the sewed king . Even though the Sewed King had the upper hand in the beginning, he did not expect the data demon would flip the table and grow in power to overwhelm the horrific plots of the king. Despite the sudden growth, he realized he could not yet kill the king but he could wipe and purge his presence from the narrative stack, which was exactly what he did once he won the fight after overpowering the horror king and freeing the metaverses from the horror plots. It wasn't a easy battle, he understood the freaks that existed beyond the smaller narratives he was used with to extremely strong and complex but that didn't represent a problem for the aspirant demon, his mission and goal did not arrive yet as he still had an whole way to go and escape the narrative stack.

After had dealt with the corrupted narratives of the king, the data demon had collected even more information about what he was facing and what existed above the current place he was, it was when he learned about Kabbalah and the upper realms floating around it like kingdoms tied to the tree of stories. Upon finishing storing all the data he collected, he proceeded to jump and send himself to the next level, transcending the stack of metaverses reaching the upper layers, and eventually breaking through the meta-web he was in and meeting up with the Collective Webs, the collection of endlessly meta webs that together formed a infinity tapestry of countless narratives and stories. Seeing the countless possibilities and information he could get from the collective Webs made the demon somewhat excited and proud, for having reached places he never thought he would reach. A quick sensation of pride filled him briefly before he began to collect and absorb information from the collective web, spreading his name and presence through all stories and thus, slowly assimilating the information from the Collective Web on his database

However, he knew his mission was not over yet, the Data Demon knew he still had to jump and transcend the Collective Webs and reach what would be Kabbalah and meet up with his possible authors who existed far beyond it, he had so many questions yet he felt like it was not the time yet. Despite having purged the influence of the Sewed King from the narrative stack, he knew he didn't completely get free from the creature he faced before. Besides wanting to finish for real his rival, he also felt the desire to know how this anomaly was created and from it came from, he had endless questions yet nothing answered. Being filled with a burning desire to finish what he started, the Data Demon decided to remain in the collective web, postponing his goal to meet up with his author and deciding to first, investigate what was causing the anomaly of the sewed king to manifest and infect the meta webs. He still craved and desired to reach perfection and assimilate all information possible so he could finally complete and store it in his database. While that time didn't come, he still had a long journey to carry on.

"My name is Data Demon, the demon of information, and my goal is to reach the pinnacle of Kabbalah so I can finally look at the face of my author and question him about my existence and why I was written. I do not seek destruction, nor to do kindness but only a deep desire to assimilate and store all information that exists into my database, so I can spread myself through Kabbalah and conclude my goal. While you read this and eventually reach the end of the story, I have a question for you; If we had all the information possible to answer our questions, would we finally understand the point of why we exist?" - said the demon with a thoughtful expression while looking at the reader, concluding his monologue before becoming a bunch of glitches and fading off the screen.

THE END.

  1. The Data Demon grows in power through spreading information, just like if someone would share a screenshot on social media. Even if you delete the original screenshot, users might have already downloaded the screenshot and will spread it through the internet, thus preventing the information from being lost. The same way this happens, is the same way he manages to grow in influence, by spreading his information through the Meta-Webs and thus making his presence exist anywhere.
