Chapter 4 - Chapter 4

Welcome to hell aka high school, that is where our story begins. I went to the larger high school of the two you could choose from. Their uniforms looked better, they were blue, more of a royal blue. The other school decided to be a little more unique, they wore brown, purple, and red, the colors were deep and vibrant and anyone could see you wearing these uniforms from kilometers away. I wish I were exaggerating. They were asking to be made fun of, honestly. They did however have a better chemistry department, I could have lived with the school colors but I received an academic bursary to the larger school and my parents wouldn't let that go to waste, back to the uniforms, the boys wore long black pants, white button shirts, blue pullovers, and jerseys with black shoes and blue socks. All of our thicker jackets were blue, for the boys and girls. The girls on the other hand wore either a blue skort or blue long pants, a white button shirt, blue socks, black shoes, and blue pullovers and jerseys. A few rules we had to abide by, girls' hair had to be tied back, and boys' hair had to be short, no additional piercings, no make-up or nail polish was allowed and no beards were allowed to be grown out. I assume these rules are more or less the same in most schools and this is where I would meet him...

I think it wise to introduce myself first, my name is Violet Anderson. I am currently at an age where for convenience's sake I forgot. I am of medium height and chubby. No, I am not slender and I don't look like a supermodel. I have red hair long enough to fall on my shoulders and dark brown eyes, actually more black than brown. My skin is tan and I have more freckles than I can count, face, back you name it and it has at least two freckles. My sister, Rose Anderson, and brother Ted Anderson are identical twins. They are blonde and pale, and they have grey eyes. My father Fred Anderson is a tall man with black hair and dark eyes like mine. My mother, Emily Anderson is a short woman, she passed her grey eyes down to my brother and sister as well as her blond hair. The twins are only two years old at this point, and I am in the 10th grade. My parents had me as teens out of wedlock and struggled to have any more children until they were blessed with a surprise pregnancy years later. She would always say that she was compensated with two due to the fact that she had to wait so long.
