Chereads / A Plant Parasite Is Attached To Me / Chapter 28 - First year initiation. Pt.2

Chapter 28 - First year initiation. Pt.2

What could be more dangerous than finding out you have an enemy, well that would be the occasional moment when you realize that multiple people become your enemy at the same time.

Seth was ready to fight knowing he wouldn't win but he would probably piss off a lot of people.

"This punks want to fight" Jake growled at the sudden realization.

"Hmph well, no one can beat me so I don't think we are in that much danger" Zack stretched his hand widely waiting for the right moment to move.

Emily sighed. "isn't this unfair though"

The group of four was not going to go down without a fight, the other students covered their words with their whispers.

Seth was currently devising how to protect himself while using less energy, he hasn't run out of energy before but he most definitely will at this moment. 'Hey, can I ask why you aren't appearing?'

'You know how I said our relationship was strictly parasitic?'

'Yeah about that, you somehow parasitized me'

'what?'

'Your human biomass fused with me and now I look like a human version of you, just without organs and my skin is made from white plant cells, so you could say I am incubating myself in you and making sure this doesn't harm us both'

'Oh, so I am on my own at this moment'

'Not necessarily, those three can fight alongside each other…maybe'

'Well that's sad, I'll see you in a few days then'

'Ok but I want more bugs to eat, maybe a Mantis or a beetle or maybe even an Insect Beast'

'…'

'what?'

'Nothing'

Seth was speechless by the parasite's gluttonous obsession with insects…he wondered why she would eat insects but if he did think about it, infants can't eat hard food so they go for the softer ones.

He sighed and looked at the current situation that was going on. "So the reason I called you all here is to indulge in the school's traditions, you see some years think they are something because they come from either famous or powerful backgrounds, but in the academy, it means nothing to us"

He stopped and looked at the reaction of the first years before grinning. "So us second and third years would have to 'discipline' all the first years for them to know their place, that I hope you don't resist or you would highly regret this"

Dale signaled and then chaos began, it began very slowly but it suddenly went up a notch, near one of the students a dark shadowy being stared at her with red eyes, the students couldn't move as they were paralyzed by fear.

"Well let's begin," A voice said and a volley of glass-like shards was coming towards Emily, she wasn't slow to react.

As the glass shards arrived towards her, they were immediately stuck between a shield of water. Emily gritted her teeth in annoyance. "I knew he would cause me trouble"

She glared at the boy with blue hair and eyes who was looking at her mischievously, it was her brother Fedric Dianous.

Fredric Dianous. Ability: Hydroglass.

Info: He can transform the liquid into glass and control it with his mind, in large bodies of water, he is very much unstoppable.

Emily wasn't the only one being attacked, all the students were either cowering and getting beat or some of them were begging to be forgiven.

"hmm, this is just humiliating" Zack growled, he was enraged by the display shown by people who he thought were mature, but then remembered that people were often like that.

He looked at the approaching people and then extended his hands. "I am Zack Umbra, and I won't stand to this disgraceful sight"

At that moment blobs of darkness came out of his arm and immediately floated all around him, he snapped his fingers making them turn into big black claws that were made to obstruct the way toward their location.

Seth sighed softly, he practically knew they weren't getting out of here without some kind of miracle. "oh well, I don't think I'll make that many enemies"

Seth's attack paths are limited, and using his own biomass makes him lose more energy using plants in his surroundings was much easier but the problem is there isn't any plant life here.

He can try reviving the wood on the hall, but he can't control that so he has no choice but to fight with his reserves.

Back at the training fields, a barrage of blood-red ice spikes came down on the third and second years, some people dodged and some deflected them.

But that wasn't the end of their plight, some of them felt pricks in different parts of their bodies, their minds being attacked by a foreign influence.

Vincent smirked watching the chaos going on, Elen was fighting with one of the few students in the academy who could go against her.

Arthur Cambris, A black-haired youth with yellow eyes holding a bolt of electricity in his hand.

Ability: Lightning enhancement.

Info: He can enhance his physical abilities by 4X and has the skills to enhance weapons and allies with lightning, the more he fights the more his power will accumulate, and it can increase with more training.

"So you guys weren't here to bully the first years?" Elen asked dodging the bolt that was sent out by him.

He smirked. "Hah, why would I waste my time fighting weaklings? I only brought these losers here so I can finally fight you Number 2"

"Is that so?, well I shouldn't be merciful then" Elen raised her hands, and the blood in Arthur's body slowly froze, of course, he was resisting.

With a crazed grin he dashed towards her with his hands outstretched in a grabbing motion, Elen moved at his obvious attack but frowned the moment she saw the attacker disappear and appeared behind her with a violent kick aimed at her spine.

She wasn't to be looked down at, she turned around and blocked the attack sending her back a little. "After images huh, you got stronger"

"of course, I did, as I said before Number 2, I'll beat you first and then Number 1 and then I'll finally beat 0," He said with an obsessive smile.

Elen gave him a disgusted look and sent out more bloody ice shards, Arthur dodged with fluidity and dashed towards her once more, he punched her as his fist connected with her face.

She didn't move but stared down at Arthur with cold eyes. "I would have lived to get rid of you, but we are currently on school grounds"

Arthurs's hand was frozen each second he was touching her and he quickly pulled back, shaking his hand to dispel the frost that had started creeping up his arm. "Tch, always so cold-hearted, Elen," he muttered, smirking despite the pain. "But that's what makes you such a fun opponent."

Elen didn't respond, simply adjusting her stance as she prepared another wave of attacks. With a flick of her wrist, she sent a cascade of razor-sharp ice shards spinning through the air, aiming to overwhelm Arthur with sheer speed and precision.

Back in the assembly hall, the chaos was only intensifying. Jake was fending off several upperclassmen who were attempting to corner him, his muscles bulging as he unleashed his brute strength against their combined attacks. Each time they tried to surround him, he broke through their defenses, sending them stumbling back.

Meanwhile, Zack's shadowy claws sliced through the air, creating a defensive barrier around their group. He grinned as his constructs blocked attacks from all directions. "Come on! Is this all you've got?" he taunted, feeling a rush of adrenaline as he faced off against the older students.

Emily, on the other hand, was still dealing with her brother, Fredric. The two siblings locked eyes, their respective abilities colliding as Emily's Liquid manipulation clashed with Fedric's glass transformations. Fredric chuckled, his voice filled with a mocking tone. "Little sister, you should know better than to try to resist. You're just making this harder on yourself."

Emily glared at him, her water shield shimmering as she condensed it into sharp, defensive spikes. "If you think I'm going to let you bully me, you're wrong, Fedric."

Seth could be seen with his right hand replaced by a long thick vine that he was using to block the attacks of a few students.

"Come at me, you Bastards?!" Jakes roared punching the few students with his fire-encased arm.

On the other side of the hall, Haiki was humming happily but the people in the surroundings around her weren't so joyful, they were partially blinded by the dark light she was emitting. "Come on, you guys aren't even trying, even those who are blinded by my 'light' still navigate to see it, Just like a moth never leaves their source as long as light exists"

Axel who was beside her merely opened his burning blue eyes and looked at her strangely. "Don't cripple them…not at this moment at least"
