"Are you stalking me now?" Meliora snarled, jabbing a finger into his chest, not noticing the shock written on the seamstress's face.
She parted her lips to say something, but Kaid flashed a glare that told her not to try it—or else. Of course, Meliora didn't see his cold glare, too focused on scolding, while Kaid simply flashed her a warm smile.
"Why are you smiling?" Meliora narrowed her eyes in anger, and Kaid chuckled.
"Didn't you miss me while I was gone?" he asked, tucking a strand of hair behind Meliora's ear. When he went to pat her head, she slapped his hand away.
She pressed her lips into a thin line and glared at him, arms crossed. She didn't know why this handsome goody two-shoes was following her around. If he wanted to kill her, he would have done it by now, so why was he sticking around, saying such things?
