There was no doubt that Meliora was moved to tears. At first, she didn't believe the pill would work, but as she stared at Aileen, who looked like a porcelain jade in front of her, a tear slipped from the corner of her eye.
"Princess, you're crying," Aileen gasped, quickly raising her fist to dab Meliora's cheek.
A sob broke out from Meliora's lips, but at the same time, she chuckled, overwhelmed by a whirlwind of emotions.
"Look who's talking! Your face is all wet with tears!" Meliora teased.
Aileen gasped, pressing a hand to her face, realizing that she was, indeed, crying.
"I was so moved that I was finally healed that I didn't even know I was crying. I never thought I'd get rid of these scars," Aileen mumbled in a daze, a warm smile gracing her lips.
Every time Meliora looked at Aileen, she couldn't help but remember the sister she'd lost—cute, kind, and demure.
