Chapter 6 - Chapter 5: Item List Shop

The first thing that popped out was the description, as expected.

"This is a shop tailored for the sale of items. Items are objects that help and benefit the host. Items can be used inside and outside the mission world. This shop also allows equivalent trading amongst users, a manager must oversee such transactions. The user may also opt to sell items found in mission worlds to this shop, a manager must also oversee such transactions.

Note: Due to the sheer amount of the items, a toggle option for specification is offered to help the customers."

So basically, this shop acts as a buy and sell program for users.

"Hey, System 143! Managers were stated in this description. What are they?"

"Oh! Oh! Managers are former systems who accumulated enough achievements, retired and were employed by the Headquarters again!" - It seemed proud about answering my question.

After hearing the answer, my curiosity was sated. I ignored it again and focused on the Item List Shop.

That was surprising. Even though the item pool is D Rank, there are plenty of very useful items in there! Although it is pricier than the skills list, it is definitely worth it!

I did a quick scroll and took note of the extremely useful items that I may use in the future.

"One last thing, what does the level in my status indicate?"

"Oh! Dear host, that level mirrors the achievements you'll have in the mission worlds. The more missions you complete, the higher the level you'll achieve and the more benefits you'll receive!"

\(・o・)/

"Thanks for all the explanation. I just want to know, If I decline now, what would happen to me?"

(☉。☉)!

"U-uhm... Since your body died back in Earth, if you decline, the protection cast upon your soul would disappear and you'll be sent to the underworld to be reincarnated and start a new life without memories of your past life. B-but you'll agree right? I-it was just a hypothetical question isn't it?"

(╥﹏╥)

Hmm... That's about it. There's not much I can still do given that I am now dead. If I decline now, I'll get reincarnated, lose my memories, start my life, die again, and the cycle infinitely continues. That's just plain sad, and most of all, where's the fun in that?
