He let go from the hug and faced me, "What's your name?"
"I-I'm Xavier." – so embarrassing! And I even stuttered! What would he think of me now?!
"Now that I know your name, we're now friends! Xavier let's go! Mom I'll play with Xavier for a bit hehe."
He gripped my hand and led me inside the house. We went up the staircase and into a pastel blue door.
"This is Rion's room! We'll play here."
Inside is like a stark contrast to my room, it's bright, lovely and warm. But this contrast didn't make me feel bad, it feels so comfortable here.
"What are we gonna play Rion?" – I asked him.
"Let's play restaurant master! I know how to cook!"
But it's dangerous to play with fire! I'm about to warn him but he laid out a set of plastic utensils and cooking wares in front of me. I was about to expose my ignorance! When I get back, I'm gonna arm myself with the necessary knowledge!
"I'll be the cook, and you judge how it tastes, okay?" – he said as he put his blue mini apron with paw prints.
"Okay." I answered, while my thoughts gathered on what to say later when he asks me about the food.
He pulled out a mini bag with plastic ingredients inside and started to cook.
While he prepared the ingredients he talked to me, "Xavier is really too long! Can I just call you Xavi?"
I blushed!
"O-okay!" – I nonchalantly said but I stuttered!
He took 10 minutes to pretend cooking and then he served it to me in the mini table.
"Xavi! This is a 3 course meal! Appetizer, Main Dish and Dessert! Taste it!" – he excitedly said.
I pretended to taste it and reacted accordingly, "It's delicious!"
After he heard me, he smiled widely and brightly. His smile is a million times more pleasing than this pretend food.
After pretend eating everything, he said to me, "We should have a clear division of labor! I cooked and now you wash, hehe."
"Okay"
I fixed the plastic wares and placed it on the sink.
"Hehe, I've seen this in the movies! This is how a husband and wife delegates duties!" – he playfully snickered.
"H-how can that be? W-we're both boys!" – I said while masking my blushing of a mess reaction.
"Eh? But mom said that when two people like each other, nothing ever matters!"
"Y-you like me?" – I shyly asked.
"Of course!" – he said as he hugged me from behind.
"T-then, you are willing to be with me?"
"Yes, Xavi! I can even be your bride if you won't find one in the future! After all, you are really introverted, you'll have trouble finding one in the future!"
I noted his exact words which sounds like heaven to me and I'll remember it for the rest of my life!
