Third person's POV
The sun was gradually going in to embrace the moon, when Selena finally arrived at her destination.
She parked the car in the driveway and looked around the area for traces of prying eyes before she alighted, and headed into the house. She hadn't even knock on the door before someone opened it from inside.
He had been expecting her.
"Marcus, you know we are not supposed to be meeting like this. Your house isn't the best meeting place for us, I believe. What if someone sees me? You really need to listen to me, sometimes!" Selena gritted out immediately she entered the house and laid eyes on Marcus, a deep frown was etched on her face.
However, the frown slowly faded away and was replaced by something else-- more like fear, when Marcus narrowed his bloodshot eyes on her.
It was obvious he had been smoking and probably hadn't gotten a good sleep.
