I woke up. I was in the same place as my dream earlier. The golden bear sat in the same spot, with his eye sockets empty. I walked closer, but his empty eye sockets were now filled with white dots, showing he knew I'd arrived. As I suspected, he looked much different than the plushie I saw earlier in the prize corner. This gold bear had a black top hat and a purple bowtie; the other had a purple top hat with a black bowtie.
"Y-you're here again." The golden bear spoke, interrupting my inspection of him.
"Is your name Fredbear?" I asked the golden bear.
He didn't say anything but instead stood up, towering over me.
"Doesn't the n-name sound familiar to you instead?" he replied.
"No, I saw a plush version of you and Afto-"
"MURDERER!" he yelled aggressively.
"Whoa whoa, no need to be hostile here." I inquired, backing up a bit.
"DON'T. SPEAK. HIS. NAME. NEAR. ME!" He yelled loudly, loud enough for me to cover my ears.
"Ok, ok, I'm sorry! What do I call him?" I asked.
"Call Afton, the p-purple guy," he replied, calming down. He sat back down in his usual spot, twitching occasionally.
"The purple guy called you Fredbear. Is that true?" I asked.
"That's a rather old name. However, I'm c-called The Golden Freddy. Because I look like F-freddy Fazbear." He replied.
"Can I call you Golden Freddy instead?" I asked.
"Yes," Golden Freddy said distortedly.
"Now, my next question is, how am I coming back to the same place?
"I want you to remember w-who you are," he said, with each glitch sounding deeper than before.
"Who am I then?" I said. Now that I think of it, he kind of smelled horrible.
"Don't trust h-him," the golden bear said in a deep voice.
"Don't trust who?" I asked.
"Find the t-tapes, and you will kill him; see who you are." He said. The sudden glitch of him whispering 'kill him' caught me off guard.
"What tapes-"
The room was spinning again, and I started to feel more nauseous than the last time.
"We shall meet again, Mike." Everything went black again.
Night 1, 12 AM.
I suddenly woke up with the phone still ringing. I sat straight and looked around; I was still in the office. "How long was I out for?" I thought to myself. I glanced at the computer screen that displayed the time: 12:00 AM. I shifted my attention to the phone that was still ringing. I pressed the speaker button cautiously.
"Hello?" the phone guy said.
"Uh, hi," I replied.
"Hello, Hello?" he responded.
"Can you hear me?" I asked.
"Uh, I wanted to record a message for you to help you get settled down on your first night." He said.
"Oh right, it's just a prerecorded call." I thought to myself, imagining how stupid I must've looked.
"Um, I actually worked in that office before you. I'm finishing up my last week as a matter of fact, so that's exciting." He said. The phone guy took a deep breath before continuing.
"Now, this place may seem scary at first, but there's really nothing to worry about," he said, assuredly. "But as a guide, I'll show you the ropes of this place in no time; it'll be easier once you get the hang of it," he added.
"He sounds like he doesn't want to be there at all." I thought.
"Now, let's see. For legal reasons, I'm required to read this "introductory" to you, so bear with me." The phone guy says. I could hear paper crunching and rustling on the other end; the phone guy cleared his throat.
"Great," I said, groaning. "A good addition to my night." I added.
"Welcome to Freddy Fazbears Pizza, a magical place for kids and grown-ups alike, where fanstasy..."
I ignored the phone call for a bit to check the camera feed. Cam 1A was the main stage. The animatronics stood there motionless. I checked Cam 5 and saw a room that looked like it stored a bunch of spare parts for the animatronics. There were many heads, ranging from Bonnie, Freddy, to even Chica. One thing caught my eye, and it was an exoskeleton. I know this because we have similar ones back at the robotics center. With no action going on, I shifted my attention back to the phone call.
"Fazbear Entertainment is not responsible for damage to property or person. Upon discovering that damage or death has occurred, a missing person report will be filed within 90 days, or as soon as property and premises have been thoroughly cleaned and bleached, and the carpets have been replaced," the phone guy said, concluding the "introductory."
"That's suspicious," I thought.
"Now you may think that sounds bad, but there's nothing to worry about. Uh, the animatronic characters here do get a bit quirky at night." He said, sounding a bit nervous. The guy then kept yapping about how we needed to respect the animatronics. I was more focused on how it takes 90 days to file a missing persons report. "What if the person is dead by then?" I thought.
"Oh, um, before I forget, the animatronic characters do tend to wander a bit; the reason why is that the technicians left them in a sort of free-roaming mode at night. They agreed on this because the amount of labor put into unlocking the servos takes up a lot of time. In my opinion, I'd say they're super lazy," the phone guy continued.
"This place is getting worse and worse by the minute," I said, panicking.
"It was never an issue for the animatronics to roam during the day," The phone guy said, pausing. "Until the bite of 87 happened. It's amazing how the human body can live without the frontal lobe," he said, curious evident in his voice.
"T-the...frontal lobe?" I said, horrified.
"Uh, before I take my leave, I suggest checking the cameras from time to time; you want to keep track of the animatronics since they do roam at night," the phone guy said.
Remembering to check the cameras, I switched my attention back to the camera feed. So far, Freddy, Bonnie, and Chica were all still there. None of them moved an inch.
"Alright, that should about cover it. If the animatronics do happen to get near your office, you could always close the door, but be aware you have limited power. It's a lot of info, but I'm pretty sure you'll get the hang of it. Talk to you soon!" The phone guy said. I heard a click, indicating that the call had ended. I shifted my attention back to the camera feed. I clicked on Cam 1A and discovered Bonnie missing.
"Oh, lord," I said, panicking. I frantically started checking random cameras. I started with Cam 1C, Cam 7, and Cam 2A, until I clicked on Cam 1B. I spotted Bonnie in between two party tables. The restaurant was dark, but you could still see some parts on the camera.
"It's ok," I said, calming myself down. "They'll never go to the office, right?" I said. The camera went static, making me unable to see Bonnie. "This thing must be old," I grumbled. After a few seconds, the camera feed showed the dining room again, but Bonnie wasn't there any more.
"Where did he go?!" I said it out loud. I heard loud metallic footsteps outside. I looked at the door, fearing Bonnie was there, but he wasn't. At least not at the door. I got up from the security chair and walked closer to the door, fearing something might jump at me. I got closer and closer until I eventually reached the door controls. There were big buttons; one was red and one was white. I pressed the white button, hoping it was the light to the door. A light came on, revealing the outside of the door. Bonnie was outside with his mouth open. He had the same white eyes as Golden Freddy had. I heard a muffled groaning coming from the animatronic. I stood there shocked.
"Why doesn't he have eyebrows?" I thought to myself.
