Night 2, 12 AM
I snapped awake to find myself in the office. Hearing the occasional electrical hum calmed me from my sudden awakening. The phone rang, breaking the silence and tension in the security office. I sat up from my current position on the security chair and leaned over to press the red button on the phone. A click was played, and the phone guy began speaking.
"Uh hello? Hello? Uh, well, if you're hearing this message, then you made it to day two, uh. Congrats!" the phone guy said.
"It's like he bet I was gonna die!" I thought.
"But uh, you won't have to worry this time because I'm not going to talk much this time, uh, since Freddy and the rest become more and more active as the week progresses. If you ask me, I wouldn't know why,"
"Oh great, more difficulty with these guys," I thought. I turned on the cameras and pressed Cam 1A. Cam 1A showcased the stage with three animatronics standing there blankly. I flipped my attention back to the phone.
"But if it were me, I would probably check those cameras often, especially Foxy," The phone guy said. "That Foxy animatronic located at Pirate's Cove, also known as Cam 1C, remember to check on the Pirate's Cove from time to time. He's more active when you're not watching him. Kind of weird if you ask me, but I guess you could say he's shy on the inside,"
The camera was disabled and then turned back on, and Bonnie and Chica were gone from the stage. I quickly switched the cameras from 1A to 4B, which didn't show Chica or Bonnie in the dining room.
"The mischievous rabbit and chicken out of their cages," I muttered.
"I also wanted to, uh, emphasize using your door lights because there are blind spots that, uh, the camera can't reach, which happen to be right outside your door. Whoever places those cameras seriously needs to go back to school or something," the phone guy said. " Also before I forget! Freddy doesn't usually come out often, but he is more active when it's dark though. But hey! that's more than enough reason why you shouldn't run out of power!" The phone guy added.
I located Chica on Cam 7 in the bathrooms, and Bonnie was in Cam 5, the employees-only room. You would think it's not hard to follow something simple, but I guess technically, the animatronics are employees. And, after all, rabbits are mischievous little creatures, so it's in their nature to break the rules. I should stop watching so much National Geographic.
"Well, I'll leave you to it. Talk to you soon!" the phone guy said. The phone clicked, and the call ended. The camera went static for a second before showing Bonnie no longer in the employees-only room. I quickly switched the camera from Cam 5 to Cam 7 to check that Chica was still there, which she was. I eventually found Bonnie on Cam 2A.
"You need to chill, dude," I said out loud.
"De de dum dum do do do dum dum de de," A deep singing voice echoed through the walls. It was like a pirate's voice. Remembering what the phone guy said, I quickly switched to Cam 1C. The camera displayed the Pirate's Cove. A shiny metal hook separated the star-covered purple curtains, revealing a robot covered in red fur with an eye patch to its right. It's one white eye peered out and stared at the camera. The camera turned off and then turned back on to the animatronic, revealing its full form.
It looked like a fox with its red fur and its long snout. The other thing I noticed was how it was damaged, I wondered why it was out of order, but its appearance explains why. I then heard metallic footsteps outside my left door that grasped my attention from my thoughts. I quickly then tapped on Cam 2B with haste. The camera showed Bonnie in the corner of the hallway. I quickly switched the camera to Cam 7 to check for Chica, but she wasn't there. I heard the metallic footsteps again from my left and pressed the big white button. The light illuminated the hall, showing Bonnie's face on the office window. I immediately pressed the big red button to close the door. The metal door closed immediately when I pushed the red button, playing an alarm as it went down.
"I sure hope I don't run out of power," I thought. I looked at one of the small TVs that displayed the power percentage. It displayed '75%' in white blockish font. The time was barely 2 AM. I heard metallic footsteps coming from the right door; I immediately checked Cam 4B, but Chica wasn't there. I then instantly pressed the white button, and the light came on and showed Chica visible on the office window. I hastily pushed the red button to close the right door. As the metal door closed with a thud, I turned my attention to the left door and pushed the white button, the white light shined brightly revealing Bonnie was no longer at the office window. I pressed the red button to open the door, it made a cling noise as it returned to its spot.
I turned my attention back to the cameras and switched to Cam 1C to see the fox animatronic. The animatronic was fully outside his hiding place and looked as if it was ready to run. Now that I had a better look at him, his feet were not covered with his outside interior. It looked like whoever designed the fox didn't bother finishing him. I switched my attention to the right door and pushed the white button. The hallway lit up and showed Chica wasn't at the office window. I pushed the red button to open the door and turned my attention back to the cameras. That's when the foxy animatronic was gone.
To the left of me, I heard loud metallic footsteps heading to the office at a quick pace. I quickly switched to Cam 2A when I saw a fox figure bolting towards the security office. Without a second thought, I pounded the red button hastily before Foxy could enter. Foxy banged on the door more loudly than the other animatronics. This one's pounds was filled with hatred. the bangs were so loud, I was afraid the door would come open. The pounding on the door stopped and the fox figure returned to his cove. I opened the left door and breathed a sigh of relief.
"That was a close one," I mumbled to myself. I tried to breathe and lower my adrenaline rush but then remembered that there was killer animatronics trying to kill me. Why did I accept this job in the first place? Why didn't I just quit from night 1? I clicked on Cam 1B to find Chica and Bonnie together with a party table split in between them. I took a quick glance at another TV that displayed the time in a white, blockish font. it read '5:20 AM'. I wiped the sweat off my face and steadied my hands.
"Just another 40 minutes and I'm outta here," I thought. A deep laughter came from somewhere and interrupted my thoughts. The deep laughter echoed across the pizzeria and made me stand still. It felt like a demon's laugh, rather than a normal laugh. I checked camera after camera and couldn't find what made the sound until I clicked on Cam 1A. The show stage had only one inactive character which was Freddy. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary until the camera disabled and then turned back on. Freddy now stared at the camera. His eye sockets were empty and his face was covered in shadows, making it barely able to see his full face. Once again, the laughter played. You could see Freddy's jaw open and close as if he was singing or laughing for this matter. I glanced at my power to realize it was already down to 10 percent, the time also was 5:50 AM. I had to figure out a way not to lose so much power or survive.
"Dum dum de de dum dum do," Foxy threatened to run out of his cove again. I switched the camera to Cam 1C and it displayed Foxy with his white eyes staring into the camera with his jaw open, exposing the metal exoskeleton inside. I glanced at the power again and found it at 5 percent. I heard footsteps outside the right and left doors. instinctually, I pressed the white button on the door and found Bonnie in the office window. I did the same for the right door and found Chica too. Immediately, I closed both doors by pushing the red button. The power quickly came low as the doors were draining a lot of power. I watched as the numbers dropped from 5...4...3...2...1 percent. 0.
As the power shut off, the doors returned to their respective places and darkness took over, leaving me defenseless. The long-lasting sound of the entire pizzeria powering down eventually came to an end. The security office was filled with silence. It was not until I heard a few footsteps heading towards the office. The footsteps stopped at the left door. I sat there in silence for a couple more minutes before a musical tune played. The tune came from the office window to the left. Two bright white lights flashed from the left door that was in sync of the tune. It looked like Freddy was playing the tune. The tune that was playing sounded like March of the Toreadors but a musical box version. In some way, it calmed me. The musical tune stopped, leaving me in silence again. The footsteps then began again, becoming louder and louder as they got closer.
Bong Bong Bong Bong!
