Both Alex and Ngo Quyen were staring at each other, but aside from a vague silhouette, neither could see anything clearly.
They were in an alley, though it wasn't really an alley because the road was so narrow. There were no lights around, which was why Ngo Quyen had run in this direction.
"Did you call me for something?" Alex asked.
He wasn't sure why he had been stopped, but he suspected that perhaps the other person had called him to ask for money. In other words, it might be a mugging, but Alex wasn't afraid.
