Seeing the young man's actions, Alex felt slightly intrigued and thought to himself:
"Well, well, these kids can fight pretty well. Getting them into the army might not be a bad idea."
This wasn't a spur-of-the-moment decision. With his many years of experience, Alex could see some basic but crucial qualities in these individuals.
"Hey, do you guys want to do something interesting? In the next few years, a great war is going to break out. Why not join the army? I see you fight decently enough. Want to try the feeling of becoming heroes, renowned throughout history? I think it could be quite fun."
The four bandits were stunned when they heard this. They didn't understand why this person was talking to them about such a thing. The leader of the group spoke up:
"It does sound interesting, but why would you trust us? We have criminal records, so joining the army isn't really an option."
