A young man could be seen strolling through the corridors of his cell. This young man was Bray, at this moment he had headed to the first two cells after cell 0. There was no one with the kind of ability he wanted—one that focused on strength.
This was the reason he walked freely with his head hung high. Of course, one should not forget that Bray was still shackled, even though his strength had increased greatly, he didn't think he could contend with the powerhouses of this prison.
Of course, he had spent some versatile points on purchasing the strength attribute, this brought his strength value to about 4000+. Bray was sure that there was no one as strong as he was in these cells.
If they saw the fact that he could take off the ateneroid shackles that had a dampening effect on abilities, they would definitely think there was something wrong with him. After that, he would be cut apart and researched in the lab, or worse, killed!
"I'm here to look for a challenge." As soon as he reached cell 3, he saw the two guards on both sides. He immediately stated his purpose for coming here, and as soon as the guards heard his reason for coming here, they sneered in disdain, just like the other guards.
Bray shrugged inwardly, this was something he had come to discover. Everyone of these guards treated them in a similar manner, as though they were not important, they looked at them as if they were looking at a bunch of walking dead men.
Are we really condemned to death? Even if we are, I definitely am not! Bray clung his fist inwardly, he had already decided he would survive, and he would definitely survive, not even the mastermind from behind the scenes that took the dimensional core can stop him.
As he reached the third cell, he knocked, stating his purpose: as prisoners, although they were shackled, they were allowed to do whatever they wanted, they were dead men after all, so a little bit of freedom before death would let them lead a happy life for a while.
In a nutshell, the guards didn't care about whatever they did as long as it wasn't breaking out of the world prison or beating up a guard.
Bray then entered the cell, where there were four people, three men and one woman. Bray suddenly had a wild imagination, which caused him to chuckle slightly. He immediately shook his head, let go of his thoughts, and focused on what he came here to do.
System, which of them is the most suitable for me to defeat?
Following his words, the system began analyzing all their stats. When the analysis was done, Bray saw a line of words appear before his eyes.
[Ferry Dellah.]
[Ability—Grandgale.]
[Grandgale (b-grade.) - an elemental ability that is solely focused on attack. Increases all stats by 1000x.]
Huh? The information made Bray stunned, he knew that b-grade ability directly increased all stats or most stats by 2000x. System, why is the increase in strength only 1000x? Could it be because it is an elemental ability?
[An elemental ability of the b-grade increases stats by 1000x, at the a-grade increases stats by 2000x, the reason for this is because it is an elemental ability focused fully on the ethereal feeling of an element.]
[Elements: an ethereal essence that exists in the boundless universe.]
[Note: the ethereal essence is intangible, all elemental abilities are special and cause one to awaken their ability's special effect when it reaches power level 50.]
Bray raised an eyebrow slightly. Such a thing is quite surprising, there are actually ethereal essences called elements. Bray's eyes lit up. Yes, yes, good system. You definitely selected the right choice for me. I just got a c-grade ability, and I think I will be getting a b-grade ability so soon.
An ethereal essence? This was something Bray didn't fully understand, but he could guess it definitely couldn't be underestimated. As soon as he saw the next line of words, Bray's eyes widened in shock.
He took a deep breath. This was 50 full-level differences, to think that someone just needed to increase their ability level to 50 to unlock it's special effects, all because of the ethereal nature of essence.
Why does it feel like there is a grin on my face? I definitely am not smiling because I am about to gain such an ability for myself, right? Right? Bray felt there was something wrong with the smile on his face. Why did it look so evil? It was a lady he was about to face, so why did it seem as though he was about to do something evil?
Seeing the young man enter the prison, all four were stunned. Why was he suddenly smiling so weirdly after staying in here for a few seconds? The same question surfaced in the minds of everyone.
They turned to look at each other, and they could see the shock in each other's eyes. Seeing their expressions, Bray coughed awkwardly.
"Cough, cough, I came to challenge you to a fight." Bray turned his gaze to the person that the system directed him to. It was actually the only lady in the room.
She suddenly smirked at Bray flirtatiously, "Pretty boy, you want to challenge me?" Ferry twirled her hair around her finger as she spoke. The thought Bray had when looking at the three men and one woman couldn't help but surface once again when he saw her acting like that.
Could it be that my guess is right? Fortunately, Bray was used to seeing countless beauties, so he didn't lose his composure. Although this lady could be considered quite beautiful, it wasn't on the same level as most of the ladies he had encountered.
He just stared at her blankly with indifference while nodding his head.
"And did you skip the men," she leaned on one side, causing her curves to show vividly, "To come challenge a beautiful lady like me?"
Beautiful? Bray scoffed inwardly. No matter what amount of charm this lady used, he definitely wouldn't fall for it. "Let's just say you have something I want."
