Chapter 1 - Prologue

In the dim, sterile glow of the hospital room, a young man lay motionless, the rhythmic beep of the heart monitor his only company. His once bright eyes, now dulled by the weight of his decision, stared blankly at the ceiling. He had given his heart—literally and metaphorically—to the girl who needed it more. She would live, and he would die. In a world that had never shown him kindness, he had found purpose in his final act of love.

As the last beats of his heart echoed through the room, a gentle smile curved his lips. He welcomed the encroaching darkness, the end of his lonely existence.

But death was not the end.

When he awoke, he found himself not in the afterlife he had imagined, but in the arms of a beautiful woman with eyes full of love and sorrow. He was reborn into a world where magic flowed like rivers and dragons soared through the skies. He was no longer the forgotten orphan but a prince of the royal family of Dracos, a kingdom rich in history and power.

His new life, however, was not without its shadows. The kingdom mourned the loss of its king, his father, who had been mysteriously assassinated by an organization known as 'Shadow'. Their motives were as obscure as their whereabouts, their power feared across the world.

Now, sixteen years old, with hair as white as snow and eyes like molten gold, he stood on the precipice of destiny. His mother, the new ruler, bore the weight of the crown with grace. His mother, his older sister, and his younger sister, were his everything.

In this world of magic and mystery, he would uncover secrets that could either save or doom his new family. The path ahead was fraught with danger, but he had been given a second chance at life. This time, he would find a reason to live, a purpose beyond sacrifice.

The shadows of his past life intertwined with the darkness of his new world, and as the prince of Dracos, he would face them head-on.

The heart he had once given away would now drive him forward, into the light of a new dawn.
