Ray woke up in a completely dark room, he look around a few times trying to understand his surroundings but then he felt a strange energy running through his body, the energy is alien to him but also familiar for some reason.
"What's this?"
His voiced traveled strongly around the dark room.
Moving his hand to help himself stand up, he heard a cracked sound on the alloy bulk bed he's sleeping on, the strange energy rushed again as if it was trying to find an escape route in his body, it was as if the energy is overloading, ready to break out any seconds, and Ray felt powerful all of a sudden.
His hand had barely touched the bed but he was already up, sitting with his leg stretched.
'Why do I feel so much power in my body, I wasn't built like this before and what's this strange energy.'
He couldn't understand what's happening to him or what has happened to him, he could feel his muscle, although he couldn't see his body but he felt his shoulder broad and his body well built.
Ray is a slender Part-time College student in his early 20 years and second year in the College with Creative Arts being his course study. He is well known in his school and every other schools not because he is a brilliant and smart student but simply because he is a troublesome kid, a fearless and arrogant student and a gangster. He is the leader of his gang and have people under him who answer his calls and could die for him.
He had joined a gang when he was in high school after deciding to fight against bully and protect his friends, he rise to the top and become a well known gangster in the high school, he decided to create his own gang after getting to College. He didn't create his gang to bully others or to hurt innocent people but he fuck with every other gangs in his school and treat the fuck up of teachers who trespasses, he also fights other schools with his gang and other gangs in the College. Although, Ray is not the most fearsome gangster out there but the people under him are dangerous making their gang fearless.
So, Ray knew his strength, he know what he can do and what he couldn't, he knew his limit, the maximum number of people Ray can defeat at a time is not more than five but with the way he's feeling now, he felt like he could destroy the whole world.
He couldn't understand what happened, he didn't know how his body felt this way, the only thing Ray could remember was when he returned home after school, he was dead tired so he went to his room and sleep.
He slept and woke up now, but he felt as if something has happened to him in that shot period of his sleep.
'Yes a dream, I had a dream.'
He could see that this is not his room where he had doze off after coming back from school, he live with his parents who had been doing there best to make him succeed in life and be a great man.
Trying to recall the content of his dream, he remember he saw a boy after falling asleep. The boy stood alone on a tall mountain with a tired expression clearly written on his face, Ray couldn't see the boy's face clearly because his hair is covering the upper part of his face like a loser.
The boy look like someone who's tired of living, like someone who's tired of the world itself and he's ready to leave, a minute later, the boy jumped down the mountain which was at least 50 feet tall.
Ray wanted to shout but for some reason he couldn't, because his vision faded away just after the boy jumped down and when he could see again, he met himself lying on a white tunic in a small room with an old woman rubbing his leg with warm water.
A bright smile appeared on the woman's face when Ray opened his eyes.
"Call the chief, young master is awake."
The woman shouted with a smile.
Startled and confused, Ray tried to move his body but he felt week.
'What the hell, what's going on.'
"Hey old hag, who are you calling young master and how did I get in here."
The woman looked at him in confusion then smile.
"Young master, you seemed a little startled, I think you should rest, it'd be best to rest after finally gaining consciousness."
Ray stared at her for a while then a sudden realization hits him, using the little strength in his body to help up himself up, he shouted.
"Mirror, can i get a mirror please, get me a mirror."
Now the confused look failed to leave the woman's face.
"You should calm down young master, I don't even know what you mean by mirror, there's nothing of sort here."
"What of a camera or a smartphone, help me get one of those."
Ray requested with a hint of urgency in his voice.
"Okay, I get you now, you really need to rest, the chief will be here soon so rest and stop saying strange words."
The woman said in a somber mood.
'No mirror or camera and a smartphone, what's going on, where's this place?'
A couple minutes later, a very old man got into the small room with three people behind him, a young teenage girl who seems to be of the same age as Ray and two middle aged men with bald head and a single long beard.
Their dress almost made Ray cough out blood, he hadn't paid any attention to the old woman's dress before but looking at the three visitors now he turned his head to the woman then look at himself and sighed.
'I"m doomed, this is definitely not the world I know.'
They all had a similar dress on with the same costume, it is alien to Ray.
Before the three visitors could get close to him, the old woman leaned forward and whisper something into the man's ear.
"You should be careful chief, he seems to have lost his memory, he kept on saying strange things since he woke up.
The old man was a bit taken aback as he stared at Ray who was looking at each one of them carefully.
Meanwhile, Ray was busy studying the three visitors.
The old man had full white hair covering his head with two tiny long beards, his face is neat and clear like that of a new born baby, no wrinkles, no pimples. He had a white robe on, the other two men also had white robe on, they both have bald head like that of a monk with a single beard while the young lady seems rather pretty.
She had a blonde glowing skin with a braided brown hair that was taken back like that of a viking and had a blue dress on.
'It seems I'm in another world occupying the body of that spoilt brat who jumped from the mountain, I think these are his family members. I should compose myself and play along.'
"Sifeng, are you Okay?" The man said as he gently approach him.
'Sifeng? Is that the bastard name?'
"I am Okay, sorry for making you worry."
Ray replied after a dozen seconds of silence.
"I should be the one apologising to you my son, I didn't give you enough care, I'm too busy trying to not make the clan fall apart, but now, I'll make sure to protect you and give you whatever you want. Your sister has told me everything that happened, she's worried about you."
The old man said emotionally with tears rolling down his eyes.
'What should I say now, I don't even know what's happening. Should I start crying too? Damn what should I do to not mess things up. I might get killed if they realized I'm not their son, let me just keep quiet and maintain composure.'
He kept quiet for as long as a minute last, making the situation a bit awkward but the young lady came to his rescue as she came forward and gave him a tight hug almost choking him.
"Idiot, I always told you not to move around alone, you should inform me whenever you're going out, those bastard wouldn't have done this to you. You've been trapped here for more than a month, I'm sorry for not being there for you."
She said with tears rolling down her eyes.
Ray didn't know what to do, he wasn't even listening to whatever she was saying, he was being hugged by a lady, that has never happened to him before, he never felt the warm of being hugged before. It felt so nice.
"You know, I might just die from lack of oxygen if you keep this for long."
Ray complained with a cracked voice after almost being choked, he couldn't breath. The girl released her hand and clean her face but at that moment, Ray held her hand and stared into her eyes.
"What do you mean I've been trapped her for more than a month."
He asked as he held her hand tightly.
Silence.
Everyone was shocked and dead silence, even the girl stared at him with surprise.
Realizing that he might have act out of character, he release her hand and said awkwardly.
"Sorry, I mean, I only closed my eyes on the mountain and then I woke up here which has not even been up to a minute."
He said as he scratched the back of his head.
'Damn, I must have messed up.'
'A month? don't tell me I missed the scheduled fight between my school and those idiots.'
