Chester looked unhappy when he agreed. "I've gone off the continent," he finally told Clarence, as if that was something almost unheard of. While that was the case in the present era, Clarence remembered that going off the continent was a breeze. He didn't bother to tell Chester that. It would lead to a drawn-out conversation they didn't have time for.
