Clarence sat against the wall, watching the people coming. They clearly viewed him and Chester as intruders. However, when they approached close enough for him to view them, Clarence was startled. "That's close enough." He knew they'd heard Chester speaking about the amulets.
Now Clarence knew they had to be related to Grifton Tinroy somehow.
At last, one of the people, a man with long, straggly hair and cold eyes, stared at him in silence. "What are you two doing here? This is a neutral zone that belongs to no one."
