Within twenty-four hours of their arrival, Clarence was pleased that he and Chester had settled into the linked cavern system. I'm glad this was the one I recalled from my childhood. As it turned out, Clarence recalled it was the one he remembered from past travels. I hope Chester can adjust to the enormous space of the caverns that even lantern light won't be able to illuminate. Even if Chester initially seemed a bit wary of being inside almost pure darkness, he gradually adjusted when Clarence found and lit some dim lights.
